New to Forum

Ciao Sheepie Owners Everywhere,

I wish I'd know about this forum earlier. We just lost our beloved OES Abby 3 weeks ago and we miss her soooo much. I'm looking at all of your wonderful dogs with both admiration and envy!!! I'm smiling and crying at the same time.

Bless you all and enjoy every single precious minute with your furrie friends. What wonderful lovable dogs they are - sheepdogs rule!

Hi Diane, sorry to hear of the loss of your Dear Abby, just want to say Hi from Australia and I hope you will share with us the memories of your beloved girl.

Welcome & hugs at this sad time. :ghug:
Welcome Diane - but I wish the circumstances were happier.
I'm sure the memories of your Abby are still tender - but when you feel like sharing, we would love to see pictures and hear about her. :D
Welcome Diane. I wish you had found us sooner too. :( Hopefully, all the pictures and stories will help (at least a little) to ease your pain. There is so much in our sheepies that is so distinct and so universal. I hope you will stick around and share your stories.
Welcome back, Diane,

I'm so sorry for your loss.

You were one of the very first members here way back in 2002, and you posted about her leakage and proin usage. I'm glad you've found us now when we can help you at this difficult time.

Feel free when you are ready to tell us a few more of your memories of Abby in our Rainbow Bridge section. We'd love to hear them.
The forum has such a spiffy new look now, that I didn't recognize it. I remember it being a list-type of thing. In any case, it is so much more user friendly, and my favorite part is seeing all the avatars/pictures. I love the other sections also, with grooming information, etc. I will definitely post Abby's picture in the Rainbow Bridge section, with her favorite cat and parrot with her!
Welcome back. I wish it were under better circumstances but do hope you post pictures of her. I can't wait to see the pictures.
I'm very sorry about your loss of Abby
Welcome back, though I too am so sorry that you found us again under such sad circumstances :(
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet sheepie girl Abby. My heart goes out to you. :hearts:

Tears,
Welcome. Sorry for your loss.
Welcome back, Diane. I am so sorry for your loss of your precious Abby. Her memories will be in your heart forever.

I wish I were meeting you under different circumstances, but I'm glad you found the forum again. :D
Welcome back! I am very sorry about your loss of Abby. :(
So sorry about Abby :(
Welcome back home to oes.org.

Our hearts go out to you on your recent loss of Abby.
Big hugs to you-- :ghug:
Hi,

I am so sorry to hear about your Abby. I'd encourage you to visit us often as time does really does heal the pain. They are never forgotten and live forever in our hearts. With time you may hear about another that desperately needs a loving home and you can possibly help another of her kind. Never to replace as each is unique and special but to honor her.

I lost my beloved Shaggy three years ago and through this forum was able to help another that lived as far away as Hong Kong. I still miss her terribly but each time I gaze into Panda's eyes I can't imagine being without him either.

I now replace my stories with ones of happier memories of her and although it took time for me to be able to do that...I'd encourage you to do the same some day. Hugs to you and may Abby be playing happily over the Rainbow Bridge.

Hello Diane,

I am so sorry for your loss. Below is a poem I found on a card years ago. I hope you will find comfort in the words.

Anastacia

They will not go quietly,
the pets who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still can make us
think we hear them at the door
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them...
and always will.
Hi Deane
