Wellness Super5Mix Fish & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food

I am slowly changing Laika over from Innova. I was told it isn't as rich for the tummy.

I did try that food for a little while but my dogs kept throwing it up after they ate.
We use Wellness Super5 Mix Lamb.

It smells strongly like fish.

Mulligan ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT.

Remember, Wellness is a nutrient dense food, so you use less than other brands. I'm not sure if Innova is as dense or not.

Yes she starting to have an odor about her

Yes Innova is the same. But I have to say she is very lean. I feed her 3 times a day. I say all together probably 4-6 cups (measuring cups)

Perhaps I might get the Lamb and mix it with the fish one so she gets both, hmmm. I think the chicken in the Innova just wasn't working for her.

PS She ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT TOO! I never seen her so excited about her food before, usually I have to add something to get her to eat.
I was really excited to try the fish and potato formula with walter but he wasn't crazy about it, he had terrible gas/diarrhea from it, and it made him lick his paws way more than usual!

I think we are going to try solid gold next
The Super5 Mix Lamb already has lots of fish in it, that's why it smells like fish. :D
After a recent bout of mysterious digestive illness, and after about $500 worth of testing, etc, I am just switiching my four month puppy over to the Wellness Super 5 puppy - chicken flavor. Decided to stay with the chicken flavor because he's been eating boiled chicken and rice for almost ten days and wanted to stay with something familiar.

Wellness is one of the few foods made without wheat gluten, soy, corn or "by-products". The ingredent list is impressive too. I've become very interested in dog foods not after this recent recall and my pup's "mystery" illness!

Paul Newman makes a great food for adult dogs. No puppy formula. But it is made with Bell & Evans chicken and all natural ingredeints.

Good luck selecting the food.

Hi
We have fed Wellness Super5Mix Fish & Sweet Potato
Dry Dog Food & found it to be way too rich for the tummy here :(
We also deal with Beebles' itchy feet & licking of paws...grrrr
so we continued our search for the illusive "perfect kibble"
Alas, we have found 2 fish based kibbles that work for us
*just hate to say it out loud or type it*
....for fear it won't last 8O

Holistic Select® Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon Meal Formula
http://www.eaglepack.com/Pages/HS_Fish.html

California Natural Herring & Sweet Potato Adult
http://www.naturapet.com/display.php?d=cal-home

The pooches have just a bit of fish breath after eating
the kibble but watch out after they have a bit of wet/can
as a special topping
8O Stinkoooooo
Even though Beebles is the only one with licking paws issues...
I feed all 3 pooches the same kibbble! Got to keep it as simple as possible!!
All 3 love the fish kibble :D
Hope this info helps!
Diane
