Ok...its Friday and I'm bored

Yawn....its finally Friday. Its been a tough week. I have a ton of work to finish, but I just plain don't care today.

I can't keep my mind on task, and I'm sick of the games on my computer. I mean, just how many times can you lose at Spider Solitare!!!

So, what are y'all up too?

fridays are good. the girls i'm watching and i are looking forward to renting some movies.

i'm shopping on ebay. surprise, surprise...

mom bought the cats something like a bone, so i'm curious to whether the cats will bother with it...

there's a segment on the Today Show about how to measure your dog's intelligence...
Waiting for the Nor'easter. :(

Want to come over and help shovel. :D
Chasin' puppies!
I'm sitting at my desk, looking out the window and watching it snow - wondering how long I'll stay and how the roads will be to get home. AND worrying about my daughter, who is supposed to work tonight (she's a waitress) until closing, about 11:30. By then we'll have about 5" of snow on the ground (if the lowest current predictions hold).

Sigh!!
Is the Northeast ever going to get rid of winter? I heard JetBlue has cancelled over 200 flights! Thank goodness, I'm not going to NY this Sunday!

Never
I'm sitting around at work, doing nothing...

I'm browsing around looking for a new shower curtain for the guest bath...any ideas of places to look?
Try Overstock.com. Sometimes they surprise you.
Deb,

R u going to go to the sheepiefest in St Louis, MO over Memorial Day weekend?

P.S. I am suppose to be working

Wynette
Scrambling like crazy to get my work doen so I can get OUT EARLY, the snow has already started here and the weatherman PREDICTS 16 inches by tomorrow
barney, Bed Bath and Beyond and Pottery Barn are good places too.

TASKER's MOM, let's trade locations! I would love that much snow!!

Drive safe Ginny. They are predicting high winds and
sleet here later this afternoon.
No Wynette...we will be coming back from Key West that weekend. I'm sorry we are going to miss it. I think it will be a blast! And besides, Tony's mom lives there, and we'd love to visit her...well...at least I would like to visit her

Really? Wow... it's cold here, -12 today, and windy, but we're only supposed to get a couple of inches.
I on ambulance duty tonight so OF COURSE we'll get it ALL and I'll spend half the night outside taking care of stupid people who didn't have enough sense to STAY HOME :twitch:
IT's 70 Degrees here today in Houston... the weather is perfect for a long walk in the park. That's where we'll be heading after lunch.
I just came back from lunch with a friend. They undercooked my hamburger so we were there longer than expected. Of course I was in a hurry to get back to the office  NOT! Now I'm off to a baby shower office gathering. As you can tell, I have a lot going on.

Deb, any news on the new opportunity front?
Nope....my boss pulled a fast one on me and gave me a very generous raise...thereby guilting me into staying (at least for awhile). What a jerk, eh?

But...I STILL hate my job!!!! And am looking for new opportunities.

Hey! We have to plan a SheepieFest! 4 meeting for late April, ok?
Just back from a long swim, fed husband.......and now surprise he's going out to spray weeds!! This I'll have to see because he walks with one and sometimes two canes due to bad back. Is this his attempt to make me feel bad for being here on the computer?!

I'm a woman! I can do the laundry, scrub toilets and still say howdy on OES.org.

Then later I need to run Glacier over to the vet's for a eye exam following surgery. The pathology report says the cells weren't cancer but the vet still wants to know why they formed. Apparently Pyrs from Roswell area have a higher degree of eye cancer.......except nobody can remember where Glacier is from. She's a rescue.

Time to empty the dryer.........
You're swimming??? I'm SO jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's almost time for you to go home!!!! Have a good weekend.

yes, I try to swim several times a week. It's about 25 miles to the pool and with gas prices it's sometimes hard to justify, but I feel better afterwards.
I have my husband at home today, because spring break has started at the high school he teaches at. :D So we are working on several two-man projects in the new studio building that my assistant and I couldn't accomplish on our own. Things like installing my wall-mounted glass and board cutter, carrying furniture upstairs to the new office space, and hanging the last of my upper-cupboards.

I just LOVE supervising!
You don't sound one bit bored!!! I'm envious!
