Weight Watchers update

Hi...haven't written about this in awhile. I thought I was getting to "blah blah"-ish. But I really want to share this with anyone who will listen

Saturday's meeting was my 11th week. I'm really proud to say, I hit the 20 pound weight loss point! Which put me over my 10%.

This is actually easier than I thought. And as much as I hate my new treadmill, it has helped termendously.

Each week I get a little nervous, because I know these big weekly weight losses can't continue, and even though I know, when I get the -1 pound and -.5 pounds its fine, I know it will be disappointing...and that I must just persevere.

Well..that's my little brag!

That is the dancing HEALTHY banana doing the "You go Deb" dance!

Congratulations that is a huge milestone!!!!!!
You go girl! I've been not following the plan, then wondering why I don't lose weight. But I said "Deborah is doing it. I can too." So last week I put my nose to the grindstone, stayed in points, and lost 1.5!
Paula! That's great!!! I know its really hard sometimes. Hang in there...we can do it together!!!
CONGRATS KEEP IT UP!! :go: :cheer:
Another update!

As of yesterday, I've lost 35.8 pounds! If last December, anyone had told me that by August, I'd have lost so much weight, and would be exercising regularly, I'd have told them they were NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you may remember, I had a very difficult fall last year, and fell into a "minor" depression.

As the new year approached, I declared 2007 the year of good mental and physical health for myself. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?!

At my WW meeting yesterday, my leader approached me and asked if I would be interested in becoming a WW group leader! WOW! What a compliment! She gave me the name of the person to contact. I will probably do that this week.

I am only 4.2 pounds away from goal. Never in million years did I think I would accomplish this. Oh wait! I shouldn't say anything, I could put the kabash on it!!! (Yes, I'm supersitious!).

Well, that's my update! Thanks for your continuing support.
Huge congratulations to you, Deb!! What a tremendous accomplishment!! :high5:
Congratulations , sounds like your doing fantastic.
Oh my gosh, what an inspiration! Good for you. The more you loose, the more goodies you can indulge in when Christmas comes (at least this is always my thinking)
Congratulations Deborah!!

I knew you could do it!!! :D
Congrates You have done it. Bet you feel so good about yourself.
My oldest daughter has been doing the WW and got to her goal weight too. She looks great but she took it 2 steps further.
1 she had a tummy tuck, and has had 2 c sections so they got rid of all that extra sink and she can now wear 2 2 pc swim suit. Also she had a breast reduction. She was way over what would we call normal ....she was a 42 double d bra and now a 36 or 38 c cup. she feels and looks like a million. Good luck and keek up the good work
Awesome, Deb!
:clappurple: :cheer: :high5:  :go: :yay:
That is great news!!!
I bet you look and feel like a new woman! :D
Go Deb Go!
That's fantastic!
Wow, she had plastic surgery! I'm not brave enough for that (although, I'm a bit flabby now...but will try and work it off).

I'm just too chicken to have the surgery :(
That is fantastic news. I am so impressed! Good job what an inspiration! :clappurple: :go: :high5: :cheer:  :yay: :excited:

And do you get to buy more new clothes? Celebrate! :rimshot:
Yes, I do have to buy new clothes. My old stuff is now 3 sizes too large. I've given almost all of it away.

The current summer clothes I'm wearing are too big, but I don't want to buy anymore. I need to get ready for the colder weather.

I also need new undies. I never thought about that stuff getting to big, but it does, and its very uncomfortable.

The biggest downside is that clothes are so expensive. I think I'll look for a really good resale shop!!!!

PS...My rings and watch are too big now, and my toe ring fell off!!!!!
Congrats, Deb! Isn't that a great feeling to have?? Taking all those old clothes, that you know you'll never be big enough for again, out of your closet??

Bravo!! :cheer:
Yes it is. Tammy, you're going through this too! Don't you look at your old stuff and think, how did I ever fill that????
Yeah Deb!

I've heard that it's better to get rid of your old bigger clothes because that way there's less comfort in knowing that if you gain weight, you can just go to your closet. They say that this way you are more motivated to keep it off otherwise you'd have nothing to wear.
Congratulations Deb, that is fantastic!

I wouldn't let the idea of spending money on clothes bother you too much, you have probably saved some money on meals and you deserve it. Happy shopping!
