I chose scorpions...but I really only have that fear when I am in AZ. :phew:

At home the biggest pest is spiders and mosquitos. I don't really have to deal with anything else on a regular basis.
some additions for the list: 1-fleas 2-ticks 3-any kind of parasitic worm
since i live in the city, i dont really have a problem with scorpions...but those palmetto bugs are everywhere, especially when they flush the sewers.....I just flip out when panda finds one on the garage wall and tries to ''get'' it......eeeechhh, NASTY!
I've never seen a cockroach in real life, but just the thought of them grosses me out.
mosquitoes? I hope no one thinks that's the scariest. hehe

I put snakes. I can't touch one w/o freaking out. I try to test myself anytime soeone has one, but as soon as they start wiggling... (my whole body is shaking now)... ick!

It was a hard choice though...

Where I'm from, we have a gazillion geckos. They're fine when they're outside. I can even say they're cute. Even cuter if it's a pet. Mostly because I KNOW it's there, and it's not a big deal. HOWEVER, I used to have 2 or 3 waiting for me on my lime-green comforter when I came home from class. They'd be there on my pillow watching the tv I left on for the dog. Oh lordy, I'd have terrible nightmares. I don't care if they don't bite. They move super fast, and the thought of one running over my foot... ICK ICK IIIIIICCCCCCCK!

I used to vacuum them up and let them die in there. There's no way in hell I was going to kill it with my shoe (too thick to smoosh plus the guts), and I didn't want it to stay in my house... Mean, I know, but... shrugs.
Scares the most and grosses out the most -- not the same thing! Which do you want to know?
val, if theyre not one in the same...well then both..... :D

L, the mosquitos are now carrying the nile virus, so everyone freaks out here...
Yeah, scares me and grosses me out are 2 totally different things. I put cockroaches...they GROSS ME OUT!

I have no idea what an earwig is, so that might scare me, I don't know!

The others can be scary in certain situations, but I hardly run into any of them, that I haven't really felt the need to be scared of them.
Definitely earwigs.....both scarey and gross....

I just jump and run away whenever I see one...inside or out.....

Once I was camping and left my can of "beverage" beside me on the grass. I picked it up, took a drink and was bitten on my bottom lip by an earwig...It was just hanging there...with me screaming .... 8O

My lip was numb for a while afterwards...Lesson learned...

Here's a pic...Doesn't show the round, clamps on the mouth parts....very creepy....or are the clamps on the end? Who cares....

Definitly TICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I work outside and I constantly am checking for ticks, they freek me out when I find one.
How about mice? EEEK.....even dead ones freak me out! lol
Crickets
I'm really scared of rats. Not mice, just rats.
I am scared of snakes but I live in Louisiana that has numerous poisonous snakes. Mice and rats - I am on the top of a table or chair screaming my fool head off.
When I saw the title of the poll, I immediately thought "Raw chicken grosses me out the most." I was dissapointed to see this was not one of the available answers, so I checked snakes. I wouldn't say they gross me out but, I don't want one slithering across me while I am asleep.
I needed to vote on TWO, but alas you can only vote once.

SNAKES & SPIDERS ooooooooh, especially our "red back & Funnel Web spiders another lot of venomous critters as well as the snakes.. :?
You've got some nasty poisonous critters in OZ, Lisa. I don't blame you for being scared of them!! We've got a few here, too, but not too close to me.

Grossest for me is cockroaches. Ewwww....YUK!!
SNAKES!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY freak me out.

Last year when we were building the proch I turned over a board and scared up a snake, I wouldn't go out the front door for two weeks 8O
So, out of all the people here that HATE snakes, who saw the Snakes On A Plane movie? I wouldn't have watched it if my life depended on it. I would have had nighmares for the rest of my life!

I didn't watch it simply because it looks like the most retarded movie ever. The famous quotes from the movie confirm to me I wouldn't like it.

Even when it's been explained by several people why there would be #@@#$@ snakes on a #$@#$ #$@$@ plane, and how funny that is... I still don't get it.
How come all of the above is not on the list?

That would be my choice - they all scare the hell out of me! And thanks to you people I now know what an Earwig looks like. I hate the mice too. But I especially hate how all these things scurry about and run in all directions when you SCREAM! That freaks me out the most!

I am so scared of bugs that when I saw a bug and would "eek" Mopsy would hide. I made her a baby too. I think Harry is in his own little happy world and has no clue what is going on.
