Nekkid & Happy About It

When I dropped off the dogs at the groomers this morning I asked her to shave them down - not all the way but close enough. When I picked them up Lucky & Sam both are now Nekkid (she didn't have time to do London today).

It is like the Sheepie 500 Speedway at my house right now. They are going nuts. They are leaping on the bed and over the foot board to the floor, racing down the hall to bounce off the couch in the living room and then back again. They are nekkid and obviously happy about it.

Does anyone else's sheepie seem to acquire all this extra energy just from a hair cut? 8O [/code]

Clyde came home embarrassed and wasn't himself for days. Though it seemed to have the opposite effect, it's amazing how of an impact a haircut can have!
Yup...mine act as if all that hair was just WEIGHING THEM DOWN!!!
Mine always act silly too, it's like they think they're suddenly faster or something LOL
Mine get crazy after being shaved and just zoom around the yard, the house, fly over coffee tables.
I think it's like a celebration of happiness for them. lol
Yuki has never been shaved but definitely when she gets a shorter haircut!! Scary, and I prefer her not to have any more energy than she already has.
Tasker loves being nekkid (whoch is a good thing since I clip him down several times a year), it always seems to take years off his age for a bit.
Oh Sheesh Wyn I thought the post was going to be about you! ha ha

My boys go crazy too after haircuts...must be the freedom they feel! Although last time Merlin hid for the first couple hours..maybe he felt smaller?

Can't wait to see all three nakid sheepie pics.

I say the hair is there for energy control. Abby is a wild child when she gets shaved. She will run around like a nut till it startes to get about 2 inches then the longer the hair gets the less she runs.

That's it - I am never ever cutting London's hair. I will let it get so long she has to drag it behind her.
