Husband says...What?

I came home from work last nite around 8pm and within 5minutes of walking in the door, notice my 10yo golden is limping. I asked Randy what happened to Taylor. He said...what? He was home for 4hrs and did not notice that Taylor is limping. Poor old dog. Took him to the Vet today, late, the Vet wants him back tomarrow for x-rays of his hip. At first he said maybe the knee and when I told him he grimaces when I touched his hip, he checked again...and said I was right  it is his hip. I told the Vet I don't know what happened but suspect the Simon my 8mo 60# plus OES probably had something to do with it. Simon is constantly jumping, biting, bugging the heck out of Taylor. Randy is taking him in the morning and dropping him off and picking him up after work because its another long day for me, but I told him when he picks him up I want a conference call so I can hear what the Vet has to say and talk to him. Poor old dog, naughty Simon...Pam aka Simon's Mom

Poor Taylor, hope he feels better soon.
Poor Taylor. :( Those youngsters can be rough playing with the seniors sometimes. I hope it's nothing serious and that Taylor is feeling better soon. :)
Feel better soon, Tyler! :(
I hope you get a good report on Taylor.
Here's hoping that Taylor does OK, and it is nothing serious....Poor baby... :(

Bad Daddy, for not noticing.... My husband is the same way.....

"Oh, I never noticed"
Hi,

Sending belly rubs Taylors way and hopes he's going to feel better soon. Glad he has such a good mama to take care of him.

Oh, so sad. Yes, the youngsters can be quite rough. I hope it is mostly bruise and not something torn.

I hope Taylor feels better soon! Seniors deserve respect!! Let us know what the vet says. . .
We took Taylor back to the Vet for x-rays the next day and they show nothing broken but he has very bad arthritis in his back and hips. The Vet thinks he may have just gotten jumped on by Simon the wrong way and hurt his hip. He's on pain meds and we have to make sure Simon doesn't jump on his back anymore, so we let them out one at a time. Thats a lot of fun...not. We do what we have to though. Thanks everyone for your good thoughts...Pam aka Simon's Mom
I'm sorry to hear that happened. We have an OES with bad hips and arthritis....It's never easy to deal with....The pain medication will most likely help a great deal but it could make Taylor groggy....

I wish you the best.
