Monty's Teeth

Well everything went fine Tuesday for Monty. I barely made it there to pick him up with the snow storm we had right at rush hour  ...but 2 1/2 hours later I made it to the vet about 5 minutes before they close!

His canines were able to stay so he had two on the top pulled and the little ones on the bottom in the front pulled. He is still very groggy (maybe the painpills?) and miserable. He seems to only bleed at night b/c I wake up to see his bed and it has stains all over it. It is taking him a while to figure out he has to pee as well - is this normal? I took him out several times last night before bed but he wouldn't go and I woke up this morning to a pee spot on his bed, which he laid in of course :? .

Hopefully this weekend he will be able to visit my parent's house and that may cheer him up a bit. I am leaving for Florida (FINALLY) for the annual vacation and my parents (my Dad in particular) can't wait to dog sit. I have a feeling he will be spoiled rotten!!

Poor Monty, I hope he heals FAST and feels better SOON!!!
Hope Monty feels fine soon :D
Monty is so cute I just looked through your album. I hope he's feeling better soon! :ghug:
Aww...best wishes for a fast recovery. Poor Monty. Better to get things done before extreme problems occur.

Every dog needs a grandparent to spoil them. Have fun on your vacation and take LOTS of pictures to share....and tell your dad....pics are welcome too!...(from Monty's vacation)
Monty doesn't do drugs well. Poor guy. His pain would be a lot worse if they had gone after the canines! Those suckers have roots down deep. My vet warned me with a rescue that she probably wasn't strong enough to pull a bottom canine and often the jaw bone breaks in the process.

People are told to use ice to help with the swelling.......wonder if that would have helped?

Hopefully today he's felling better.
