OES on Saturday Night Live

In the beginning (before the "live from New York" part) they had spoof American Idol auditions with animals. The last one was an OES-- and then a few more as he was leaving. Fake Simon Cowl told the OES that he "needed more hair to cover his shame." Lol.

West coasters can still catch it if you're up in a few hours!

Yeah, was about to make this post and ask what my MIL was talking about. She said she heard there are supposed to be three Yuki's on SNL. I didn't know what the heck she was talking about because it was very random in her email. Know it makes sense...
"3 Yuki's on SNL"  very funny. I bet you were confused! 8O
All OES are "Clydes" to my mom, too. As in "Ooh, I saw a Clyde in the dog show."
My kids say the same thing....hey look it's Remy. I had hubby tape it, I am hoping we got it.
Well, I got it recorded on the camera. If I ever get around to downloading it downstairs, I'll post it.
okay, I suck. I don't know why but I guess I'm putting my finger over the mic although I never remember doing this. The last few movies I've made have had the same problem.

But if you really want to see the 20 second clip of the three OES' on american idol, here it is... (must have vol on max even though some of the sound is just missing).

What is said is: Paula complains she can't see the oes' eyes.
Then the part you can't hear that Simon says is "Get out."
Lastly, it's just the host saying at least she has her family waiting out here to support her.

Really wasn't funny. I was expecting to actually hear the dogs rooo-rooo'ing or something...

I'm so glad you got that on tape! I missed it. So cute!
Cool! :8 :)
The more I watch it, the more I'm embarrassed I even posted that.  It's sooo sad.

I am so glad you did! I missed it and so now I know what everyone is talking about. Very cute. Thank you.
That was great!

Who else was waiting for the dog to shove his nose in the guy's crotch?

The guy looked like he was half-expecting it..
Okay!! Who's dogs were they!!!??? How dare the owners not give us a hint that they were going to be on!!

Thanks Jo for posting the clip...
I think the guy had a treat in his hand. Bob recorded it and I think the Sheepie was after the treat.Watch and see what you think... Guinness sings on cue maybe I should call SNL!!!
Loved the video clip  I want ot hear Guiness sing :yay: :clappurple:

That was my first question, too! James gave me this annoyed look and goes, "C'mon, you don't know every sheepdog." then he immediately followed with, "Do you think you know them?" :?

I keep using the "You need more hair to cover your shame" line on Bear and Clyde but they don't seem to have any shame to cover. ;)
I was just going to post about this and there it is! Thank you so much for the clip! I missed the show but now I have it and thank you!

Soooo, whose dogs are they? Must have come up on the credits???
I'm glad you posted the clip! I had fallen asleep and my daughter started screaming at me to wake up, I opened my eyes and saw the very end with the 3 sheepies, what a shock!! I'd been wanting to see the whole thing :)

The owner is from upstate new york and one of the dogs was BOB in 2005 specialty, If I had read correctly. Don't quote me on it...

Where?
On my performance OES site, they were ID'd as Gail Bodisch's dogs (of Emma Blu :D ) from NY. I hear she had to be at the studio with the dogs at 1pm, for the live taping at 11:30 pm. What a long day! Very excellent job!!!

There is the information!!! I read it from the oes list.

It's SO annoying to know you read something somewhere, and can't remember. :D :D

exactly...I didn't sleep in almost 27 hours...lol
These kind of mind blips can happen.
That was my 2 year old Hannah, the other dogs were from a breeder in New York or Connecticut. They were breed dogs - the one coming through the door wasn't Hannah - it was a boy youngster. I was so proud of her. Those cats were on teh same set just 2 feet from her and she had to sit there and then go off stage on her cue w/ just hand signals.
Hannah, who was the head shot, is from New Jersey, the other 3 were from NY, and I heard what Michelina heard that the mom was a National Specialty champion. Hnnah does obedience & agility
Which one was your dog? Not the one being judged? Was it the one licking Ryan Seacrest's hand? Or the other one waiting outside? Sorry if you said somewhere in your post. I'm confused.

So cool that the owner of the dog we saw on tv is posting!
yep, she was the one being judges. They go in the day before for rehersal, then 1:00 call for a dress rehersal on Saturday, then do a dress rehersal at 8;00 in front of a live audience and then the live show at 11:30. I think the puppy that went throught the door (Hannah's stunt double) name is Harrison. That was on another set. The golden in the skit is a frined of mine's also.
I recorded the golden being judged, but absolutely no sound. :(
Hahmood...I remember you personally from a while back at the Centennial.... We were discussing handbags...lol

I'm happy and excited for you...That's terrific news :yay:

Michelina~
yep, I met you at the centennial. I was bidding on your kewl jacket and just got a note that I didn't win :(
awe...I'm sorry...

As far as the skit, you can clearly see the dog that walks through the doorway is a completely different dog from coat to markings... but all in all it was great.... Thank you for sharing the clip... I can't wait to show my neice and nephew...

Michelina~
