OES Forum artists/craftspeople

Hey, Ive been noticing how many folks on this forum do creative work...Stacy's Altered Art, Lavellas craft business, Daria (one of my FAVORITE artists) several marvelous photographers, and graphics artists, and Ive seen glass-blowing and felting mentioned...
I'd love to hear about these, and other Artists work/and business experiences. I am a printmaker/collage artist full time. I have a theory that something about OES attracts creative people! :D

And nurses/EMT's!

I used to watercolor paint, but haven't in years. My daughter LeAnne and I have been making customized tote bags with acrylic paints. We've done bassets and OES so far. :D

I knit -my next big goal is to save enough Chewie hair and have it made into yarn for a scarf and mittens. :D :D
8) I like taking pictures, do some painting and I am singing in choirs. It is my hobbies. :excited: I love cheerful people - and dogs - who are humorous and comical; Like the artists, the craftpeople and the oes. 8)

:go: Just love them! :go:
Hi,

You should see the art work of Danita from Mexico and Tove from Norway, they are both truly gifted artist! Danita and her hubby Saulmr have been busy with their new baby girl so we haven't seen their post for a while. Their products are for sale and proceeds help dogs in shelters in Mexico.

Myself, I'm always dabbling. I've been a professional magican/clown and comedian for aprox 20 years and so use creativity in my shows. I also work with special needs kids in an elementary school and love nothing more than getting hands dirty in paste and paint.

At home (when time permits) I love creating things and use to make giant paper mache monsters aprox 10 ft high for Halloween, or giant bugs or displays for my envioronmental garden to put smiles on peoples faces.

I don't paint pictures, but will often paint rocks or create things out of whatever I find in nature. Think my photo file has a photo of Ogo I made out of logs found in the garden.

I'd love for people to post their artwork...Please!!! That would be awesome!

Marianne and the boys
Don't forget to check out "DoggyDoo's" by member TDennis! :)
I love her stuff! :)
Or Michelina and Sheepiedreams...yes, there are a lot of us :D
Pictures would be awesome...Marianne...10ft tall paper! mache monsters???!!
GIMMIE!!! I cant wait to see those! :excited:
I meant "Danita" when I wrote "Daria"...sorry
Doesn't really count as "art" but my spouse and I build live steam locomotives. The largest we've built so far weighs in at 2100 pounds (about 950 kilograms for those in the rest of the known world). The little steamer in my avatar is only 450 pounds (205 kgs). :)

Choo choo cool cool !
I find that there are a lot of creative people associated with this breed as well as entertainment, music, and dance.... People whom have OES I've noticed through my line of work do tend to excel in those fields as well.

Danita is a SWEETHEART... STACY, love her altered Art, Terry Dennis' Doggy Doos great stuff, and heard she was a real sweetheart too...... OES PEOPLE ARE SWEETHEARTS TOO ....as for myself... I plea the fifth.

I know my great aunt isn't on the forum but she is Sarah Spina, commercial Artist, and she had an OES as well.

So far photography has been a serious hobby. Well, only because I haven't sold anything. But then again I am not doing a great job at marketing my work as we had discussed. lol
I used to paint too, mostly abstract, but due to arthritis in my hands I no longer do that.
I studied Art History in High School.
My High School was geared towards performing arts. I sang, danced & acted.... until I hurt my knee. Then they wouldn't allow me to be in the program if I could no longer dance. Which sucked, because I really enjoyed the acting and singing. That is when I got into Art and took the Art History course as an elective (and for extra points towards graduation  )
I have my degree in Design and specialize in Kitchen and Baths....but please, never give me a paint brush.....im really really messy.....and I dont sew, but do use stitch witchery (need an iron for that).....but you need help color cooridinating anything, im your girl!
I have a few hobbies :D build pine chests and ironing board chairs and carve pictures on them , digital painting, ceramics and china painting

I have posted the chest and ironing board chair on here (waiting for approval) and this is a link to my digi paintings if you would care to see them
