Mardi Gras has come to Gurnee, IL!!!!!!
Dear Wynette, I received my packages today. How exciting! What fun!!! Both boxes were festively (is that a word?) colored with Mardi Gras pictures. The first had my beloved King Cake! Do you think, if I put it in the fridge it will stay good until the superbowl? I'd love to share it with people coming over. The second package, blew me away!!! 8 million gorgeous mardi gras beads! And I didn't even have to show my boobies!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Also, two very special sets of beads...one of multicoloured big hearts (just like Wynette's heart) and one with big football beads, and a heart and they all twinkle!!! That is a definate must wear next Sunday. AND! An adorable stuffed court jesture, who shall be named, "Saint"! Wynette, you're a dear! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are one of the best. Even though you won the bet, you went ahead and sent one of the deep dish pizza's from Chicago. (I was trying to get everyone to wait until Super Bowl sunday to eat it - but my son told me he thought we should eat it now and order the cheap pizza for Super Bowl Sunday. )
Go ahead and eat the king cake. I got you the Cinnamon as it is least likely to go stale or spoil. (Liquid or cream filings spoil the fastest like cherry, strawberry, apple, cream cheese, etc...) Thanks for being a great sportswoman and a good friend Deb,
