| I'm not sure it's from being "desensitized" though. They look like a few soldiers who just thought that was funny (the dog walking on two legs). The killing comment, I'm sure, was because they see it's in pain. Not that they were helping it by throwing a few rocks to get it to move, but it's my personal opinion they were only going to kill it to put it out of its misery. I mean... they're the ones who put the video on the net, which was stupid, but I'm sure the peopel they planned on showing are idiots too.
Here's some more food for thought. The dogs in iraq HATE iraqis. BITE and run away from all of them. They RACE to Americans and are friendly to them. Mr. J hasn't met a dog that liked an iraqi yet. BOTH tours. Neither has his friends who were assigned to different locations. Gives you an idea of the life the dog has already had. |
| Still very sad and not right that they were taunting the poor dog, even if they eventually killed it to put it out of it's misery.

| I saw that video a couple of weeks ago and was just sick about it. Not only because I felt so bad for the dog, it also makes our soldiers look like "ugly americans" just because they seem so uncaring. Foolish of them to put it on the internet. |
