Dickens Update

He is doing great- the kids absolutely adore him and he is really good with the kids; a little nipping but nothing too serious. Dickens gets so excited when the kids get home. Kaden, the 5 year old, can hardly contain himself and carries Dickens around the house. Dickens puts up with it admirably but fortunately (for Dickens) he will soon weigh too much for Kaden to carry him. He's now 11 weeks and weighs approx. 1718 lbs.
Potty training is still work- het gets the idea but still has lots of accidents. Not a lot of success with the crate training- he likes one of the tiled bathrooms the best.
What's great about him is he absolutely loves people and will follow you around the house and just hang out wherever there are people.
Still feeding him Nutro, which is what the breeder gave him- he loves it so I'm reluctantt to change, and the vet said it was fine?
Will try and post some new pics soon.

yey...we want more pics and soon!

I hope you meant to say 17-18 lbs....cause if he weighs 1718, your son is the strongest boy in the world! :D
8) Thank you for the update on Dickens. It sounds like he is fitting into your family just fine. I am sure Kaden is just enjoying his fluffy sheepie so much. Dickens is a beautiful boy and I look forward to seeing more updated pics and maybe a few with Kaden holding his Dickens. I am glad to hear everything seems to be working out.
Wonderful, Awww kids and Sheepies. :D

Look forward to seeing pictures of both, especially the kid carrying the sheepie, I wonder how long he will be able to do that with an expanding sheepie.

Good for Dickkens! I still think his name is darling!
sounds like all is well and Dickens is well loved :D
Yay! Thanks for the update on Dickens. Dickens will be too big/heavy for the kids to carry around before you know it!

Barkley was 18 lbs. at 8 weeks old and 30 lbs. at his 12 week vet appt. No wonder our breeder said he was a monster when we asked if he was big for his age. 8O

Upload more pictures when you have a chance! We'd love to see more Dickens pictures! :D
Well... yes, I meant 17-18 lbs. I'll try and take a photo of Kaden carrying Dickens this week- Dickens does seem to be growing by the minute.
Kaden is very proud to say he is the boss of Dickens, and Dickens is a good sport about it.

So glad to hear that everything is going well! By the way, did anyone mention we want more PICTURES???
I am so happy to hear that Dickens is doing good. Sounds like things are going very well for y'all. I look forward to seeing those pictures of Kaden carrying him. Those will be great in years to come when they're both bigger.
Going to warn you, when you start carrying them around when they are young eventually when they get to 60 and 70 lbs they still expect to be carried around. 8O

So glad that Dickens found a great family with great kids to play with and herd.
Yes, Wynette - you should bring up the "baby London" picture again. It is great, even though it hurts my back to look at it!! :D
