Tomorrow is 1 year since we rescued Rags

I cannot believe it's been a whole year.
Here is the first picture I took after we arrived home.
Image
She was one huge matt from head to stubby tail.
I had to shave her down which was quite the process. Boy was she thin, the clippers were bouncing off of her spine when I shaved her. YUCK!
Image

She was quite embarrassed after the shave down and she looked a bit angry. Image

She eventually got over the embarrassment and started smiling again.
Image

She then fell in love. Image
then made some new friends Image
and more friends, Image

She learned the pool was a nice place to hang out during the summer
Image

She then made even more friends:
Image

Her hair got long Image
Image

Then her Mommy gave her a haircut and it was bad (choppy looking). :( So she got shaved again, because Mommy couldn't even it out. I will post a picture as soon as I upload it.

All in all I think it's been a good year. She's come a long way from being that underweight, matted mess.

Happy Anniversary Rags!

Love,
Mommy

:yay: Happy anniversary, Rags!! :ghug: Can't believe it's been a year already! Where DOES the time go??

It looks like her ears have started laying a little flatter. Is that right, or am I just seeing it differently?

She's such a lucky girl to have found you and your family. She certainly is a testament to your goodness and love!
Happy Anniversary Rags! You have a very happy sheepie, good job Elissa!

They did seem less noticeable when her coat was longer.
Though I am not sure if it was just the hair. lol
You can see her ears in the haircut pictures below.
Her ears popped up again after the hair was gone, but I don't think they are sticking up as much as they did.

Here are her most recent pictures:
This was the choppy haircut I was not able to fix. (sucks being a perfectionist  ) I had tried using the guard on the clippers.

and here was the the haircut the next day.

As you can see she was a bit cold so she was curled into a tight ball.
She was not happy about having to get a haircut two days in a row.
She is back to her happy self again and seems even happier because she can see again.
Awww she still looks pretty, love her expression. :D
