I'd LOVE to do that, but, for a variety of reasons, a third dog is not an option for us right now  However, weve started calling everyone we know who might be interested in him and refering them to his Dogster. com account...That's assuming the rescue org. that is listing him would be willing to adopt a dog to Alaska...the vast majority won't.
I showed his picture to my husband, by the way, and he was able to explain the love-at-fist-sight that I felt for him. Scott's reaction was: Oh my god, he looks like the love-child of Abby and Otis!" Abby is our female sheepdog, and Otis was our very first dog who we got when we were 1st married. He was a black lab-great dane mix who died 3 years ago at the age of 17. Watson has EXACTLY Otis's big goofy grin! |
