Some dogs just aren't into toys. Tasker NEVER played with toys til Ty came alone years later and showed him how. An occasional ball or chew bone was it.

As for soiling in the car, are you using a crate in the car? That might increase his feeling of security. I would either crate him or get a seat belt harness and harness him in the back seat.
As far as toys, some just aren't interested... try treats for training, something really yummy like liver.

Regarding walking... hmmm... not sure what you're asking... you want him to pay more attention to you when you are walking him?

Regarding car rides, try a couple short trips in the car, to a corner store and make it only about getting in the vehicle, getting a treat, and getting out for a few times....
I will break this up into sections:

What you need is something to motivate Gismo...be it a toy, treats, praise...the toy represents his reward, and the reward is whatever is rewarding to "Gismo". Think of something that Gismo really, really likes and use that. If your trainer doesn't use treats explain that need to because the toy thing is not working for you. The treat should be whatever Gismo likes, but small, tiny pieces, and use LOTS of them. Cheese, chicken, whatever. If he likes bacon you can put some cheerios in a baggie with some bacon so they absorb the smell. Then sue the cheerios. Don't feed him before class so he is good and hungary.

If you want to get him interested in a toy, that can be explained in another post, but that will take time and you need something NOW so you can get the most out of your class.

A dog will look at you in a walk if they have been trained for that. I know mine don't look at me at all! lol If that is the goal you are working towards, then you can teach him that. Remember that walking and looking at you is not a very fun excerise, for normal, every day walks. I assume you want this for during training lessons, or for him to watch you on command. Do you use hand signals in training? A dog will be more inclined to watch you if you are visual with him, as opposed to verbal.

To get him to look or "watch me" start this at home, in a quiet place. You can take a small treat, show it to him and then slowly move it towards your nose. When it reaches your nose say "look" or whatever word you want, wait a second then give him the treat. Do this over and over again.

Then move the treat into your other hand, but don't let him see it. Do the same thing using your finger to point to your nose, say "Look", wait a bit then treat him from your other hand. Do this over and over. then stop using your finger to point to your nose. He can "Look" by both your pointing cue or the verbal cue...By prolonging the time before he gets the treat you then prolong his "watching" you...

I think we need more information on this. Has he just started doing this? Is it possible that he is so stressed that he is releasing his bowels uncontrollably? Could it be submissive urination? Is it always both pee and poo?
Explain when and how often and under what circumstances this happens. If only once, I wouldn't worry....

What is he doing that makes you feel he is scared of the car? If this is the case then a crate or seat belt may help for now, but we can work on getting him to enjoy car rides in another post.

Thanks for being concerned about your baby's happiness....! We will try to help you.
