panic. I did a standing rib roast, and I have done this
before with the bone but for some reason I am suddenly
struck dumb! I have an electric carver - am I just running
around the inside of the bones??? I have never had
this happen to me before - I just can't think straight!
It is a huge roast, almost 10 lb and I really don't want to
mess this up.

I have never had a panic like this over food.
It would have been too big a piece to just carve
between the ribs. I think there were only 5 ribs and
it was a huge roast. I ended up just cutting a
big curve along the ribs and it turned out fine.
I just got this new electric knife and it worked -
cut like butter. I was a little surprised at how
easily it cut actually. Gotta love new tools!
