Truman is in love with himself

Truboy had his first shave last night. He loves it.
He was staring at himself in the mirror like he was the most beautiful boy in the world. Very funny. Will Post pictures later.
has anyone elses OES been infatuated with themselves after a haircut like the vain boy truman. He does look pretty good though.

That is so funny! I guess he is no different than people who see themselves in the mirror after a drastic haircut and can't get used to it. What a smart little sheepie! Harry would have probably barked at himself in fear.
That's funny, and unique I think! All of my dogs would have barked at the mirror.
So either truman is smart, or maybe he's showing off for the pretty new dog   :P
Truman knows a handsome sheepie when he sees one :clappurple:
Most dogs have that embarrassed look when first being shaved.
I guess Truman is not embarrassed and likes his new do. 8)
We just shaved Abby down, and while I haven't noticed any increased vanity, I have definatly noticed her being more affectionate! I suppose its possible she's just cold :? But I like to think it's because she's pleased and feeling good!
Ollie's 1st shavedown was an embarrassment to him. He was so ashamed and felt the loss of coat. He even hid when Todd came home from work -usually he ran out and met him at his truck. He had to coax him out. No wiggles and happiness - if he had a tail it would have been between his legs!

Then after a couple haircuts, he came to love it. He knew he was clean and fresh, and that he got more priveleges in the house as a clean dog. He also seemed to think he was lighter and bouncier!
:D Willoughby had to have a complete shave before Xmas due to mats. Luckily it wasn't too cold. However, I think he felt tht I'd taken his clothes away. He didn't look very happy and curled into a little ball at bedtime. So I borrowed Edwina's pink blanket and covered him with it. I also bought him a bright blue coat which I had to modify to fit. He was going mad whenever I took him out: leaping all over the place, probably due to the cold air on his skin. 8O Once he went out with his coat, he was a changed dog. He actually strutted and looked very important. The cats of course were critical and inspected him after he came home from the groomer because he smelt of perfume. The groomer uses a Parisian dog shampoo! His coat is coming in now and he looks very handsome. I have taken photos of all this but discovered that I have a defective digital camera. Sigh!
Izzie votes for anything that means less brush time

She is also always friskier when we get her cut short.
Emmie LOVES a haircut......and Bella hates it!
Emmie is the only sheepie that we have ever had that doesn't get embarrassed after a haircut...not even a little
Emmie loves everything!
I dont know how to set up a poll, but this might be a good topic: does your sheepie seem happier with long hair or short?
