bald!

I'm not compleatly sure this belongs here, or in "antics", but...We just got our first set of serious (oster a5) clippers, and my husband decided to shave our adult sheepdog Abby down (because our puppy Bert keeps using her as a giant chew toy-creating horrible mats) and so I now have a VERY naked sheepie  Well to make a long story short, he was so tickled with the whole process that he took the clippers to his own hair and now I have a totally bald husband TOO 8O

Yup, the concept of "TRIM"" just didnt seem to get through! Thank goodness for doggie sweaters&wool hats!
That's funny - at least they're going through this together . . .
if it makes you feel any better, my husband who is 3/4 bald decided that it was okay to share clippers with panda.....so now they both have nice closed shaves.....although panda gets a break in the winter....lol.....
THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! I'd kill my husband if he did something like that, but I totally understand getting addicted/obsessed with using clippers. I get the same way ...although i've never contemplated using it on myself.

Your poor doggie will be cold when it's time to go potty! I hope she's quick ...not like my Yuki who has to pace back and forth for a few minutes!!!
That's definitely an antic! Hilarious. I also get into Clipper Mode where I keep looking for areas on the dogs to shave. . . Poor Maggie. :?

Oh, don't forget-- we need pictures!
YES! We've never seen pics yet of your dogs!!! :)
We definitely need photos of the two of them.
were having a tough time with the photo thing...I'm not sure what were doing wrong...hopefully we'll figure it out soon! Actually, its pretty warm here right now, low 20s! We had wanted to shave her down last week (because of the mats) but it was in the low -20s! 8O
There are three steps to the photo upload process: (1) you browse and select the photos and upload them and then when that is done (2) you have to choose albums to place them in -- one at a time. We can always fix it if you put it in the wrong album; (3) once they are uploaded and placed, either Ron or a moderator approves the pictures. That timing can depend on who is online when. Once approved, they will show up when you click the camera underneath your posts.
HeeHeeHee  HeeHeeHee

That's funny.
8O 8O That is really funny! My husband is a barber, not in actual profession anymore, (car salesman now... ) so next time your hubby wants a trim.. tell him to go to a barber!

too funny!

brian said that his head isnt even worth an $8.00 hair cut any more 8O

:D :D :D :D
That's funny 8)
Men..

If your husband starts looking at you funny....HIDE THE CLIPPERS, LOL,
Kathy
How funny!
My hubby's beard and mustache trimmer stop charging last week and he needed a trim on his mustache and goatee, so he used my Andis Clippers... lol
He said they worked great. Men!!
Thank you for a great laugh!

I think it is called "Enchanted-Clipper-phobia" - it's all or nothing. :D
My husband will not allow the dog clipper to be used on him or his clipper on the dogs. He's shaved too many poopy butts.

OK, So I've gone a little photo-happy...having FINALLY figured the whole process out  ...so, very belatedly, here are Scott and Abby's Father/Daughter shave-down photos!

aweee.. look at him talking to his girl!! That first pic is so cute and Abby looks adorable :)

I saw and thought about getting that lamp at the last fair!!!! They are expensive!! 8O Very unique and creative. I have things from Korea that were made with the same stuff.

I like the OES hanging on the wall.
Our lamps are all made by a local guy with a business called "Stone Age Alaska". Lucky for me, he and his wife collect my artwork, and like to barter! 8)
They both look great!!!! :D
Both are adorable!!! I just love the pictures...I have used my dog clippers on my husband's head for years. He was (or is) in the same stage as your husband so decided to go short!! It has saved us a lot of money over the years. I now have oster turbo clippers so he has the old set all to himself!!!!
okay, I probably shouldnt post this...Brian would KILL me....he decided that his head isnt even worth a 11 dollar haircut...he bought his own clippers (he decided that sharing with panda wasnt a good idea)...

Weeeeellllll, I came home the other day to find a nicely shorn head...EXCEPT for one looonnngg streak...his first streak where he obviously forgot to put the guard on.....so that one area on the back left side is shaved to the scalp..kinda like an off center reverse mohawk.....

I asked him if he wanted me to fade it a little better and I got a sulky ''no'' :D

Men...$11.00 seems worth it to me.....
Haaaaahhhhaahaa....oh Darcy - he will kill you, but GOSH that's funny!! :yay:

My BIL let my sister shave his head one time.

Just one time.
Oh No!!! I bet the stripe looks stunning..
I just try to keep my mouth shut....obviously there is a difference between my 65 dollar cut and brians ''free'' cut...ill take mine over his ANY day
