Ok, picture this:
It's Saturday night and temps are going to drop below 0 so I start my nightly ritual - making sure everyone is tucked in their beds with lots of covers on - - -
Both two legged kids are curled up and warm in their beds......
There's Rosie on the floor by my bed (her usual spot)...........
but NO Dexter (in his usual spot on the kitchen floor) !!!!!
I search high - - - -
I search low - - - -
I search inside - - - -
I search outside - - - -
just when I'm getting ready to wake the entire house to go look for him - - I find him - -
Sound asleep - -
IN MY SHOWER !!!!!!

How funny! Our German Shepherd would always sleep in our walk in shower. He loved the cool tile. It was kinda weird when you'd walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night and he would sit there and watch you.  |
Shower in the summer for the cool tile, but in the winter??  Maybe he wants to be first in line for the warm shower in the a.m. |
Maybe he was hinting he wants a nice shower in the mornings from now on?

That's a good one. I bet you were getting worried where he was.
I am so afraid I will forget one of mine outside in the cold when they potty. I always carefully count when I have them back inside! |
