Pirate's Graduation Day
Pirate graduated Basic Obedience last night! I was so proud. We had to do a routine that consisted of heel, sit, sit/down, figure 8 turns, down and stay, sit/stay and come. (hope I wrote that correctly!). Pirate did everything perfectly!!! At home when we work out, he tends to let his mind wander to birdies and cars and kids...but in school, during his final exam, you would have thought he was a genius! He really made his mom and dad proud! Now...on to advanced! |

I've just been calling around again today and finally! found someone who does obedience in my area! YAY! So Dancer will be starting this week, and Sky will be starting in the middle of August. |
| Oh, I'm so happy for you, Dancer and Sky. The dogs really love school. Pirate lights up when he sees his friends there. He will be starting Advanced on July 27. Where he learns to do everything off leash (EEK!) Eva, our trainer, has much more faith in us, than we do  Let us know how the girls progress. |

THat is wonderful news! Your mom is so proud of you Pirate! You are such a smart boy! You will do just as good in advanced! You will show those OTHER dogs a thing or two. 
That is great news, Willlow! I am glad you found a place for Dancer and Sky to go. What date is Sky coming home? She is about 4 weeks old now, isn't she? I can't wait to hear about Dancer getting to meet Sky. Give Pirate and bare bottom Dancer hugs and treats for me, it sounds like they both have done well!

| I'm kind of nervous about brining Sky home, I don't want to hurt Dancer's feelings, I hope she knows how much we love her... I felt the same way when I found out I was pregnant with my second child, and found out later that the love just grows and grows. But I still worry.
Sky is 4 weeks old tomorrow. I will be bringing her home on August 7th I think. She will only be 7 weeks old, but the breeder is going away, and thinks it will be okay since Sky will have another oes at home to keep teaching the basics of being a dog. Dancer will be a good teacher I think. She is gentle yet playful with other dogs and cats, though she is submissive to my parents dog. LOL When my Dad tries to give both dogs a treat, Dancer will take hers to Blackie and drop it at his feet. Just letting him know that she knows he is alpha. It's cute. I think Dancer will be a good big sister, to her neice. LOL |
| Way to go Pirate!!!! That should make all the Sheepies proud..as they are always trying to dispell rumors that they are not very bright. Hmmmph!!!! |
