OMG- Bleeding Foot?

We were having breakfast this morning and Don and I were sharing the dining area with the pooches.....they were quietly laying off to one side, hoping for some goodies to drop to the floor.

Don suddenly says to me "Dixie's foot is bleeding!" I jumped up and looked down at the floor...No bloody marks under her paws..We crouch down and checked her toes...(as she gives us kisses for all the attention  )....and couldn't find signs of blood...so we leave her be, and Don keeps watching her as we continue to eat. Then he says "There it is again! It is all red!" So we get down again and thoroughly examine her paw......There is is, all wrapped up in fur on the back of her foot....a piece of a red and white candy cane!

Very funny story, amazing what can get stuck in their coats. My previous girl was a big hairy spider from outside. I hate spiders and she had one in her coat 8O Outside, Outside I told her and she kept walking to me with that butt wiggling and me freaking out.

Yes spider flicked off her outside FINALLY.
Nicole -- You scared me! :x

So glad it was nothing.
Now they are walking pantries! I still have candy canes on the table....I'd better got put them away until next year. I don't want the guys reading this and getting ideas.
She didn't want anyone saying her feet smelled like Doritos!!!!
Not Doritos, it's Fritos! Heavier corn batter and extra grease, er cooking oil.
  I was worried she may have started up with some weird allergies again - thank goodness it was only candy!!!!
