| That's mysterious! Do you mean her eyewhites and her fur?? Does it look like pollen? Is she rubbing them or uncomfortable? If you join the forum (free!) you can post a picture, which might help. |

| The whites of her eyes are red, the hair around them is pink. They don't seem to bother her. although her brother wants to lick them. |
| Well, just checked them again and now they are back to white, I'm still going to call the vet tomorrow. Maybe with Chauncey (her brother) licking them all day while I wasn't here had something to do with it. Just scared me. I will let you know what they say. Thanks! |

| Red tear stains (in a maltese) are usually from an infection, yeast or bacterial. It is quite common for a maltese to have red hair around the eyes. But I have never seen it in an oes. My guess would be infection. |
