Chewie got his 1st 2 points!!
 
He's just a few weeks shy of 9 months and he handled the whole thing like a pro. He even has sleeping on the grooming table in the middle of the grooming area down pat! Pictures to follow! ( I had to go to work now (Sunday night) after getting home from the show  ).
Also a little non-sheepdog brag - My basset Simon and I got our 1st 2 legs in Rally Advanced this weekend. We even placed 3rd on Saturday.  Pretty impressive to be a basset placing with the super achievers - Goldens and Border Collies! Advanced is off-lead, so just that much for a basset is a miracle  . |

This one is small - from a friend's account. The view of a room of the show area - rings 1-11. Rings 12-18 were in a different area. 
Chewie on the table, visiting with friends before getting "primped" for the ring.

Chewie is such a fun puppy. LeAnne was so happy with how well he behaved and that his coat turned out OK. He gets out and does more stuff on the farm than is probably good coat-wise . It's a never ending battle around here! Now we can relax for awhile and let him do more fun stuff. |
