Anybody in PA?

This is from NEOES rescue:

Is there anyone that lives in or near Chambersburg, PA? There is
probably going to be a 44 dog seizure there on Tuesday and the local
Humane Society cannot house them all. NEOESR is willing to help with
any OES in the seizure ...IF we can find a volunteer to identify if
any of the dogs are actually OES. Some shelters get them confused
with beardies and whatever else they think of. Please email me
privately if you live in that area of PA and can help during the week.

If you can help, contact Grannie Annie at NEOESR.org

Sheepieboss, I pm you, if the more info I have on this I can get ahold of people in the dog club and maybe get things in motion. I am going to e-mail some of them right now.
I got your pm and returned the info. Even if these aren't purebred OES, sounds like an emergency for rescues back East. Contact grannie.annie@neoesr.org to see if and how you and club members can help.

Thank you!
I have emailed G/A about this. I am only 2.5 hrs away. What a sad situation.
I'm 30 mins away and familar with the area. Have pm'd I'm available anytime tomorrow.....Kathy
I will contact grannie annie too, I live about 1 hour away.
Any more info on this situation?

Dear OES.org people.......Thank you so very much. I think we have plenty of help fairly near by for now. The seizure isn't going to be tomorrow ... postponed for a warrant. There are only one or two OES, the others need help as well but I think it is under control.... Thanks so much for your support in this Rescue.

Northeast OES Rescue

Thank you all who volunteered to do whatever you could. It's great knowing there are so many helping hands.

Oooops, that's New England Rescue, not Northeast Rescue.......my fault. I was trying to let people know who Grannie Annie was and added that last line and got it wrong.

shame on me!

Here's an article about the seizure with a sheepdog pictured:

http://www.publicopiniononline.com/localnews/ci_5090389

I can't believe the Timothy & Cindy Keller pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges in 2002 and they were able to have dogs again? Didn't anyone follow up on these people? Very sad.
Animal abuse laws and penalties are such a farce. It is a national disgrace.
This is very sad, there was another seizure recently. In this home it was a elderly couple, I think the woman had either become sick or had passed and the husband was left with all these animals to take care of. The "officials" said they weren't planning on pressing all charges possible because of the gentlemans age and the situation. Has anyone else in the Harrisburg Pa area heard about this one???
