Deaf OES puppy

My daughter has a two year old OES who is deaf. They are expecting in March, and decided that the dog may not be a good idea now.

Does anyone know who to contact to place a deaf dog with. We want to be sure he will be well cared for. The breeder will take the dog back, but we wanted to check for a special place for deaf dogs.

PS. He is Oswald's brother.

Is your daughter also in your area?
If your daughter is also in the Indianapolis area, I can help you. Check your message box, I've left my e-mail address there.

I can help as well - send me a message
As you guys all know, Oscar is deaf. I would just like to reiterate that I am available to talk to anyone in regards to the care and training of a deaf sheepie. Though there are a few extra things to be aware of, a deaf dog is no more responsibility than a hearing one, and I'm happy to chat with anyone in rescue, fostering, or a potential furever owner.

I just want things to turn out well for this little guy, so feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Laurie
