WALKS

Prince is 13 weeks old and I just read one post about only going on short walks with him. How long is to long I thought walks would build up his muscles in his legs. One more thing how do you get pics under 12kb I tryed all mine and no luck.

You don't want to take a pup for long walks this age because their bones are still developing. At 13 weeks, you probably could start at about 1/2 a mile and add a 1/2 mile each month I think. If your pup gets tired you will need to carry him back. Do not force him to walk more than he wants to.

Regarding avatar, you will need a photo editing program to size it down. Or you could pm me your email address & you could send me the photo to size down for you if you don't have that capability.
Re avatar -- since you have uploaded photos to the gallery, you can use the thumbnail for one of your uploaded pics as you avatar. Anything you upload is automatically the right size. You just need to locate the location of the file for the thumnail by rightclicking on it, choosing properties, then doubleclicking on the file location, and then using "ctrl-C" to copy that location.

For example, if you wanted to use this picture (which is super cute!):

You would specify this location in the avatar dialog:

Very cool, I did not know that!!

Your puppy is very cute btw Jamie!
At 13 wks, there was no way I could get yuki to go 1/2 a mile. She would just sit her bum on the curb and say "mommy.. not gonna do it. nope. i'll sit here and watch you." So, I carried her home, almost daily.

absolutely adorable dog
At that age I would stay close to home, just a block or two and back really...
At that age, short walks several times a day are great. That way they can burn off energy from those puppy power naps!
Very cute puppy too.
