Chapter 10 in the saga of Tasker the COUNTER SURFING WONDER

Well, you might remember few weeks back when Tasker went through a bit of a counter surfing frenzy and managed to gobble up up almost 7 lbs of assorted nuts in one fell swoop. You may also remember that I spent a day or two cleaning up poop coated nuts and pondering what to do with them (nut fudge for the ex, brownies for the tax collector  0)

Well, as the saying goes here's the REST OF THE STORY...........

Well a couple weeks ago Doug's car started to smell like DOG POOP :cow: I acussed him of tracking it in on the floor mats. He took the car to the car wash and throughly cleaned it INSIDE AND OUT. The smell continued, in fact it got WORSE. Every time we turned the heat on the smell would envelope the car. In addition to dog poo there was a sickly sweet smell reminicient of a dead animal. I was SURE something had crawled up into the engine and died.

So, Doug lifted the hood and examined the engine for a dead rodent, with no luck. The smell was AWFUL, we had to start riding with the windows rolled down and the heater and vetns OFF. Not bad in the summer but winter IS making a feeble attempt to arrive here.

So finally yesterday DOug could stand it no longer. He started to rip the car apart looking for the source of the stink.

You'll never believe what he found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He pulled the "cabin airfilter: (I have no idea what that is) and discovered that something (a squirrel a mouse WHO KNOWS) had been collecting the poop covered nuts and storing then in the filter. The filter was jammed with about a pund of poop covered nuts

FUNNY!!!!!!!!
That's a normal behavior of squirrels when someone's dog poops on their food supply. it's their way of getting back at the owner. Can't you train your dog to do his business without soiling the squirrels food?

Merry Christmas.
Holy crap! :rimshot:

Sickly sweet smell -- must be anti-freeze; I hope Tasker didn't get ino anti-freeze...it's happening when the blower fan is on, yup, antifreeze leak in the heater core... then he's taking apart the cabin filter.... must be near the heater box, here it comes... antifreeze--- Poop Covered Nuts?!?!!?!!!!
