Merry Christmas

I just want to let everyone know how much our rescue appreciates your help over the past year. You are a bunch of wonderful loving sheepie people. You are not only talking the talk, you are DOING something to help sheepies in need.
Thanks Ron, for this forum.
Thanks for helping Marcus to get well and into a wonderful home, without your financial help, we could not have done it.
Thank you Wynette, Betsy and Rachel for fostering, this is so much appreciated.
I am not the bragging kind, I do rescue because I LOVE this breed so much, but you deserve to know that we found loving homes for 44 dogs this year. This is a lot because we are a small rescue. This is great in one way, but on the other hand, it is too many that were dumped or turned in by the owner. People still don't get it and there are to many back yard breeder still in business.
In my personal life things did not go to well, I lost two of my sheepies this year. Winston, my senior of 14 years, I was there at his birth and held him close as he crossed the Bridge.
An then I lost Dallas, only 8 years old, my once in a lifetime sheepie.
There are no words.
I miss both of them so much, so this Christmas will not be a happy one.
I wish you all a wonderful Holiday with your sheepies and a great NewYear.

Ingrid I am so sorry for your losses  Thank you so much for all you do in rescue :D
Ingrid, you have earned your place in heaven.
Sounds like you have had a little rain in your life this year.
However, please also remember the many good things that happened in your life - the many sheepies you helped and the families of two leggers whose life you improved with wonderful, fur-covered rescues.

From San Francisco with respect and admiration,

Merry Christmas from the Simm2Zoo

Ingrid,

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved sheepies. We are sure that both of the wonderful OES' are at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for you. As one of the families who will benefit from the rescue work you do with sheepies we are very thankful for all the hard work you do. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the holiday with your family. We look forward to meeting you in person very soon and seeing our newest family member Duke! Again, thank you for everything you do for the OES community.

Ingrid, thank you for ALL that you do. Forty Four!!!! That's simply AMAZING!!!

Please let this community help you in anyway to save those dogs!

I'm sorry for your losses this year. Let your work in rescue serve as a memorial to your friends passed.

Thanks again, and thanks for your kind words.
And let's not forget that Miss Belle came to me through Ingrid! For that, Ingrid, I will be forever in your debt.

Merry Christmas.

Jil
Thanks everyone and please be there for us in the New Year, and help us safe more sheepies.
Thank you Jil for taking Belle, what a story, I am sure every body heard of it. Sorry you lost her, but at least she had a few good months with you.
I still have the Christmas photo you send me, how happy she looked.
I wish that she had more time with you.
I have a scrapbook of pictures of all my rescues.
Ingrid
Ingrid you should be thanked and commended on rescueing a phenomenal 44 sheepies. I thank GOD for people like you!

I am sorry for the loss of your beloved sheepies. Two in one year I can not imagine.

Happy New Year to you! May you be blessed with all the resources you need to continue on and the love of as many sheepies as you would like.
:) Merry Christmas Ingrid, Best wishes to you for the New Year. Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of your sheepies. My wish for you is that two little furry people who need a mother will find you. :ghug:
Ingrid, I second all that has been said....you do a great job. So sorry about your losses this year.....mine are 9 and 8 and i can't even think about life without them.
I am in the Memphis area and am a pretty busy guy but feel free to contact me if I can do anything for you in the Memphis area....I might be able to do a little transporting if needed.
I've help place the very few sheepies that have shown up in the newspaper around here.....and do a pretty good job on finding lost dogs.....yeah I'm one of those who cuts out the lost dog list in the paper everyday and put it in the car.....just in case.....a little bag of food and a leash and voila....pet home with family.....nothing feels better
