Christmas Tipping at Daycare - HELP!!

Izzie goes to Doggie Daycare 3 days a week.

She will also be staying at daycare while my sister and I are gone over the holidays.

Daycare is also where she is groomed, and I tip appropriately after every grooming session.

My question is...

What is a good holiday tip? I don't know exactly how many people work at daycare, but there are probably at least 7 people. I will tip seperately for her holiday stay, but am baffled as to what I should pony up to say THANKS!! for their hardwork during the year. Should I get multiple gift cards so each person gets one? Just cash?

PLEASE HELP ME!!! 8)

Wow, that would be generous. If you felt the need to tip everyone, "I" would give them a free starbucks coffee giftcard. That would be cheap yet sweet! :) Here, hot chocolate is popular (there's a stand on every street), so I get giftcards to get a free one ALL the time from people.

When I'm at the hairsalon and want to split my tip, I just tell the person I am paying at the register that the tip is to be split. I don't think $3-5 each is a lot. $21-$35 (7 people) extra than what you would normally pay when it's not Christmas sounds reasonable.

I plan on taking my dog and since "I" feel I already tip generously, I only plan on tipping $5-10 bucks more than what I normally tip. So, for me.. it cost $90 last time (each time is different), I would pay $112 (around 25%).
I love the starbucks idea!
I tipped my groomer, $100.00, but he is only one person.
Plus I never tip on individual grooming, since he is the proprietor.
I average about $150.00 a month in grooming, between Stellie and Zak,
so I don't feel too bad about not tipping with each visit.
Amanda, I used to work at a doggie daycare and we used to get tips anywhere from very generous to none at all during the holidays. But *most* of the regulars would tip everyone that worked there. The most common gift was a $5-$20 gift card (best buy, blockbuster, starbucks etc) but we also got a lot of cash and food (people would order us a bunch of pizzas, bring in bagels etc). We really appreciated the gifts, as we really did take good care of the dogs!

So I guess my suggestion would be to find out exactly how many people were there and get separate gift cards for everyone!
Thanks for the suggestions 8)

I will probably do the Starbucks gift card thing. I won't give it to them until January, so maybe it will be a welcome break getting something after most people give. :D
