Whatever you do, please avoid pet stores. Newspaper and Internet ads often lead to puppy mills or problem breeders. The National OES club site has a document with good info on selecting a breeder at: http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamer ... nglish.htm You might want to contact Madeline Erickson in upstate N.Y. She participates in OES Rescue at a regional level and would know of reputable breeders in your area. Her email is: Waynenik@aol.com Also, the National OES club has a breeder referral service.
