no flying reindeer

Yes, the wind from BC blew through here last night, no flying reindeer from roof tops.

Now.....it's snowing like gang busters......and this is not a major snow climate. Pretty, dogs lovin' it, but next few days will be hazardous driving as nobody here knows how to drive in snow.........and I've forgotten. Snow plows are rare as hen's teeth.

Time to kick back, fill the hot chocolate pot and watch Jack, the desert sheepdog romp through the snow!! He's lovin' it. So far, though snow is quite wet, no snowball feet!! MO is biting all the snow flying off the snow shovel or falling from the trees. Harry is just keeping watch. The old Pyr Fox would rather be inside and Glacier is unimpressed.

I have a diningroom filled with presents for needy families......anyone have a sleigh??

SNOW!! WOOHOO!!!

As long as you're not driving in it, I hope you continue to enjoy your hot cocoa and watching everyone play in it!

New snow is so beautiful until it's covered with pee spots.
I spoke too soon about snowball feet............
If you don't have to go anywhere, then I'd say just enjoy the treat :)
We don't have any snow... which is almost unheard of at this time of year here.
You are really getting hit this year , glad to hear the dogs are enjoying it :D
We are supposed to get snow for X-mas 8O
I do think the dogs and kids would enjoy it.
Also it will make the Christmas lights extra pretty looking. :)
I am not looking forward to the temps though.
Send some snow our way. Our highs are in the 60s & 70s this week. This keeps up we are going to be wearing shorts again for Christmas day.

Think we'd all better go dig out Verve in Boulder. She has another 2 feet up there.

Anyone ever heard of Pogonip? Friend in Taos, NM reports it is happening there this a.m. It's when the humidity is 100% and temps below 0C, the moisture in the air freezes into needles instead of crystals and can actually damage your lungs.

It is a Shonshone Indian word.
