OMG Growth Spurt

Stella just went from being huge to gigantic, almost overnight.
I am shocked. It is amazing...anyone else notice huge changes in size happen this quickly?

If you think she's beyond the right size, have her thyroid checked. People have conditions that cause extreme growth, maybe dogs do too.

Maybe this is a case where a sample should be sent to Dr. Dobson?? or whatever her name is...........
I am still waiting on London's growth spurt and she is 8 mths old and just not all that big. If she doesn't have one soon she is going to be a much smaller sheepie than our two boys.
Chewie's line has petite girls and manly boys - all in the same litters. I wouldn't worry about London being small :D .
I don't think there's a problem, I just think I have a healthy horse. :D
Brie shot up quick as a baby, she is a big girl.

Kelsey took longer and is still a midget next to her.
Just like KIDS, one day they are in the cradle the next driving off in a bright red convertible................... :D
MONSTER GIRL

She's a "Full Figured Gal"!!!!! :D
How old is Stella? Because if she is near London's age, 8O London is a dwarf. London is 8 mths old. Rosie who is also 8 mths is the same size as London.
stella turns 1 in 7 days
parties will be planned

She really has done a majority of her growing the last month. Her mom was tall and thin and her father was shorter, but very very stocky... She takes after both, I guess :D
My breeder told me to expect a HUGE girl.
See I am not sure what to expect with London as she was a rescue.

hahahaha......um, Id have to agree! Hey, we can set her up with Bailey....I call him "my little pony".....wonder what their kids would look like??!! 8O
Holy Cow!!!!! She is HUGE!!! She's beautiful!

She's beautiful! I'm still waiting for Fozzie to grow some more. He is just a little bit taller than Annie, but lean. He did look bigger before this last hair cut, but not huge yet...hopefully, he won't be enormous.
what's wrong with enormous?

Well, for one, I need to be able to handle my boy. Since I have a bad back, it will cause problems for me. Being an enormous sheepdog is also hard on the dog's hips. I have seen a few ENORMOUS sheepdogs at OES gatherings. They literally look like horses! I don't think Stella will be one of these guys though :D
So should I cancel the hay order?

Nah, it's good for them! They like the roughage. ;)

Myself, I love a big dog. I kept hoping Clyde would be big and I got my wish. At least trip to the vet he was a solid 96 pounds but he fluctuates a few up and a few down. The vet said he's perfect and his hips were just x- rayed and couldn't be better. Being big and being fat are two different things! I find as long as your dogs are trained pretty well, size makes almost no difference. I walk all 3 of mine together with no problems but if I had to pick the hardest one to handle, I'd pick Lucy and she's the smallest of my herd!
OMG she is gigantic ... i bet she's amazing at being a comforter ... sadie is only good for slippers :P
