Does your OES nest?

Hazel loves to do what I call nest. She will get on the bed and try and lump all the blankets into the center. Or if I have clothes on the floor she just claws them around the place like she is building a nest. Then she don't sleep on them. It is weird but funny.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Both Violet and China do that to my bathroom rugs. So everytime I go past the bathrooms I step in and rearrange the rugs.
Clyde reverse nests on the bed. If the covers are messy, he pulls them all up and actually makes the bed. It's pretty messy but it's about as good of a job as I do making the bed! In his own bed, he has to scratch it about 100 times before he can sit on it-- same with the tile floor in the bathroom.
Yes maizie does that too.....
All of mine do that too, but Dancer the most. Panda makes a giant mess of blankets, and then goes and lays somewhere else
My wigglebums do that too. Blankets, rugs, whatever is handy.
Hannah Rose goes a step further with the nesting. She collects her stuff in her nest. Toys, paper, cardboard, shoes, clothing, what ever she saves goes in her nest. Isabelle nests in the foyer rug. It hasn't been flat since she arrived.
Yes, Fozzie does this mostly after he's had a bath and I put a towel on the floor for him. I tell him to dry himself off :D

We have a bathroom rug in his crate which is always in a big heap in the back. I've watched him and he doesn't even lay on it. I don't even bother straightening it out every day for him anymore. Apparently, he'd prefer if it wasn't there at all.

He'll also try to to it with a towel I put on the leather couch. Guess he wants to lay on the leather to be nice and cool
Carlo does it to anything he can find. Cosmo just watches and shakes his head.
Laika does it too! I never saw such a thing. Makes me laugh!!
Phoebe does that all the time. She takes all her toys curls them in a blanket then sits on them
Chewie dries himself too :D .
He uses his blankets or anything handy and covers his toys.
Bailey too - he arranges his blanket into a big ball then grabs it between both front legs and rests his head on it.
Bingley does this too. He takes his blankets and "digs" around them to form his little space!
 Maggie always pulled anything on the floor in a big ball, but she was especially fond of her brothers heap of dirty clothing found on his bedroom floor!

Brooklyn tries to nest in the corners of stairs by raking at the carpeting 8O, and occasionally with her bed! Hopefully, she'll never get the corners up - I can only imagine what the carpet might look like! :o

Very interesting that this breed has a tendency to "nest." Maybe the "Nanny" idea wasn't so far off course! Love my sheepies!
