Finally

Hello everyone! Today is the big day! We are picking up Mopsey at the airport at 2:30pm!!! :) I am so excited! I am bringing water, a brush, colar, a leash and clean up clothes for her to the airport. Anything else you can think of that I might need? My two kittens have no idea what a surprise we will be bringing home! ha ha ha Anyway, wanted to let everyone know! Oooooh, I can't wait another minute!

Oooh I can't wait till you get back, I wanna see pics! :) Have a good trip!
Oh boy, Willowspite, you are gonna be sorry you asked for pictures! I am dangerous with a digital camera! :D I have all my supplies ready to pick her up from the airport! I can't believe how SLOWLY time goes!
Treats! Don't forget the treats. You want her to like you right off the bat  I don't think I go anywhere these days without a pocketful of treats.

That's exciting! Best of luck, can't wait to hear the stories.

Sue
Oh yeah! I have a chew toy with me for the car ride, and we are stopping by the petstore to get some treats and weewee pads. Nancy (breeder) said that she goes potty outside already, but i think we should have them just in case. :) I am sitting here re-reading all of my puppy books, and ofcourse came across the development stages: 8 weeks enter the fear stage, anything that scares them can stay (scar) them for life :( . This was my original concern about getting her flown in. Now I am kinda starting to freak again. I pray that she is going to be ok. :(
Congrats! Remember - RELAX and enjoy! If you are nervous and tense - Mopsey will pick up on your "vibes". This is a fun time - nothing to be nervous about! Excited YES - Nervous - NO!

Best of Luck! You know that we are all here for you waiting for your questions and looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing stories!

Oh wow! How exciting! Mopsey sounds like she will be so spoiled, I think most of our sheepies are. I didn't realize you had 2 kittens. That is a lot of fun watching a friendship form between all of them. What age are the kittens and what about their names, I would love to hear about them too. We want all the wonderful details of your sweet Mopsey. Have a safe trip. Stormi and co.
ok, she is home!!! :D :D :D Her plane came in early and she arrived a little shaken up, but much better then I (neurotic personality  ) expected. She is 12lb, and is very tired! Ate a little Fell asleep on the carpet on her tummy, :P stretched out. Now, when we brought her home, our two kittens were waiting in the kitchen. She walks in... Huck sees her, and haven't quiet figured out what she is, runs up to her arches his back and rubs against her. His brother, Tom, stays about 5 feet away, looking at him like "What's wrong with you, stupid, its a DOG!". Huck turns around, takes one look at her "Oh MY GOD! ITs a DOG!" jumps about two feet in the air, hisses, puffs his tail and runs faster then I ever saw him run before! Ha ha ha ha It was the most hysterical thing I have ever seen. Now, the kittens (3 months) are kinda checking her out. She is busy sleeping most of the time! I love her! She really does look like a little bear! That rump, that face, that little black nose! I am in heaven! We got the kittens a cat tree, so that they can hide out from the puppy if she gets too rumbunctious (spl  ).
It is great to here she is home. That is great that she has already felt comfortable enough to eat. I can imagine this has been a big day for little Mopsy so she will probably sleep for awhile and wake up full of puppy energy.
You had me laughing with me picturing Tom, Huck, and Mopsy all meeting for the first time. They will be friends soon and the kittens will come to love sleeping with a warm fuzzy sheepie.
We have a 4 level cat tree and they can rocket up it faster than anything. We have a picture with a cat sleeping on every level of the tree. I am glad to hear she is home safe and sound. Enjoy her, before you know it she will be a big girl. We can't wait to hear more. Stormi and co.
Awww.... that is so cute .... I love seeing kittens and puppies play together, when they are raised together they can be so close.
Pictures, pictures, pictures..... pleeeeeease?
:D
awesome!!!sounds like we are going throught the same things right now,you w/ Mopsey and me w/ mickey.today is 1 week we have had him,and he is coming out his shell.potty training is going well, and like Mopsey's mom I have 2 kittens also.LMAO!! and it is so funny!!!Mickey is 20lbs and 9weeks,so we are just having one hell of a fun time here!!!
Mickey loves teasing and Im thinking he is going to be just a big ole clown.my collie is so patient with him.Last night i had my collie and mickey in bed w/ me,and mickey was pulling on his maine, and humping  him.Jagger just laid there, showed his teeth a couple of times, but Mickey is learning......fill me in on some of your new puppies silly ways
WOW! Mickey is 20 lb hah? Well, Mopo is 12lb at 8 weeks. But she is a female and I think they tend to be smaller then males. She is so melow...Kinda lays around the house, would trot after a kitten a few times, but they are too fast for her. She can't really run that fast yet. She also is just learning to climb the stairs. So funny. She falls a few times, but my husband or I are there to help her. She isn't afraid of the train any more (we have one going right by our house). And she met our neighbor's kid (about 4 yo) who is so gentl and nice with the kittens and the puppy! This was the first time I saw her bum go crazy! It was adorable! She is still getting used to us and the new environment! She does follow us from room to room. Her favorite place is the kitchen with its cool tile floor. She just kinda stretches out with her back legs behind her! The sight is priceless! I just hope she doesn't hurt the kittens by accident. She is so big and clumsy. And they are only 3 months. We are always there to supervise them, so it should be ok.
Uumm, sorry for the long winded post, but I just can't hold it in, and you all know exactly how I feel right now. Ron, I am soooo thankful that this forum exists! All the advice, suggestions, and criticisms that I came across were always with the best intentions and great facts to back them up! God bless! 8)
