London Is Going To Kill Me

I am not sure my heart can take London growing up. I am reading on the forum watching the video of Lil J walking and Joe yells at me that London is bleeding all over the couch and growling come quick. I am up like a rabbit heart racing and run into the living room and immediately see that all this red blood is coming from her mouth and it's everywhere. I pried her mouth open and all I can feel in her mouth is this stump - so I am thinking omg she cut her tongue off somehow. Joe tells me go get the flash light - I run get it and we get a good look inside her mouth.

London has gotten one of the red apples off the Christmas tree we just put up today and the red dye is all over her face, legs, chin, the couch cover, etc...

All the Christmas decorations we put up today are now drenched with Bitter Apple. I came this close to just taking the tree down.

And at what age do they finally mellow out???????

Poor Wynette! :(
Do we get to see a picture??
Chewie ate one of Bre's green markers yesterday. We could have gotten our red and green puppies together for a Christmas picture!

WELL I dunno, talk to kelsey, I am still waiting for the puppy chew stage to be over.

Heck that would of been such a fright, I know with Kels and blood all over her face, thought she had cut or done something to herself, turned out a parrot hit the window outside and she decided it was "finger Lickin Good" 8O 3 days later she threw up a nice pile of rainbow feathers. :?

Hope you get the red dye out of the couch, London well that's gonna be fun, BATH TIME MADAM.

Not poisonous is the decoration she demolished?
Oh geeze! I'm sorry about that. Bingley is distracted from the tree by the kitties scooting around it . . . Everything else seems to be fair game! He's so used to me putting my hand in his mouth he must wonder why I ask him not chew on toys instead of me . . . 8O
We didn't put the tree up this year as Foz was sure to get into it.

Remember, my black shoe polish incident from 2 weeks ago??? Foz is 10 months old.
London is going to kill you? Or you are going to kill London?

Although Maggie's naughtiness quotient varies according to how much exercise she has, there is no amount of exercise that makes her trustworthy in the house. I try to make sure she is within sight at all times because if she is somewhere else, she is likely into something she should not be. She is crated when I am away from the house. I hope to be able to upgrade her to being secured in a room, but I won't risk it in a rental house.
holy cow what a scare!! :cow: what color is your sofa? Believe it or not acitone works wonders to remove about anything...just remember to BLOT not rub the stain...

When does the puppy behavior end? I dunno, but I am thankful that Panda is scared of our Christmas tree....
Naughty dog!!! My heart would have been in my mouth at the sight. We haven't put up the tree yet and hubby says don't because Simon will just take it right back down. On its side of course. I don't see it being X-mas without a tree. We shall see...Pam aka Simon's Mom
What a scare she gave you! I'm glad Brees is leaving ours alone so far...
What a scare! We're gating off the tree upstairs. Pip is waaayyy too sneaky, I KNOW he'd steal ornaments off the tree. Right now, the kitty girls are the ones causing tree trouble though! They keep derailing my train under the tree
 Scary but funny.
I do understand the frustration... but it's a new thing in her home, and a puppy naturally has to explore everything with his or her mouth.
I'd just keep a close eye to make sure she doesn't eat anything dangerous.
As to when they settle, eventually
You mean they really do mellow out at some point?
Well i sometimes can't wait for my youngsters to mellow out....
In the day time they r both good as gold, in the evening they r totally crazy.

We will have a small christmas tree in the living room, on a sturdy table, and hopefully next year we can have a big tree again.

years and years ago when i had my sheepies i did something very stupid.
I bought for each sheepie a nice smelly bone, wrapped it up in nice paper, put it under the christmas tree.......boy what was i thinking by doing that?!
On christmas day the dogs went straight for the tree to smell and steal their presents, and the tree came down, totally ruined.
I learned my lesson then. 8)
Humbug! I am not putting up a tree this year. My nerves cannot handle it! I am constantly prying things out of Laika's mouth. Driving me crazy! I can just see it with a tree.
Oscar is going to see a Christmas tree for the first time this year, at 2 1/2. We didn't dare put one up earlier, as he was soooooo rambunctious, and I was sure he would knock it over, and crush all of our lovely ornaments to bits. Luckily, he is not a chewer, so we don't have to worry about him snacking on anything, but I am leaving off the candy canes this year, just in case!
LOL oh poor you..sorry I'm chuckling at your expense!

No tree for me either..too much tempation to for my three to see a nice pine tree for their convience in the living room. Dunno don't want to take a chance. Ha Ha.

I'll use the little foot tall one that sits on my hutch. Sigh one day I'll get a real tree again!
