Bozo The Clown

Oops, I think I done something wrong. On Thanksgiving night, Simon was sleeping peacefully on the living room floor and I thought it might be a good time to "try" to trim the hair around his eyes. It started out really well. He didn't fight me (much). It worked so well that I started thinking why not try to trim the hair on top of his head because it was getting long too. So, smart girl that I am :D I started to trim the hair. Weeelllll, Simon started to get tired of this and wanted to leave. I tried to keep him still for a little longer while I snipped away. He said Nope, I'm outta here. He got up, schook, and thats when I got a good look at what I did. OMG, shock turned to laughter and pretty soon I had tears in my eyes and my stomach hurt. DH got a look at him and asked me what possesed me to do this. He was MAD. I told him to get a sense of humor. Thats when he nick named Simon "Bozo The Clown" cause thats who he looked like. Picture Bozo... Bald head on top with hair sticking out at the sides. Thats Simon! DH said all of Simon's doggy friends will laugh at him. Yes I do have pictures and when I figure out how to post them, I will. Live and Learn...Pam

DH tried and after posting it said it needed to be approved first. I'm not sure he did it right
It's not that bad! I have certainly done worse.

The beauty is, it will grow out!

Approval of pics is part of the process; they've been approved and are available now!
Awwww -- he looks cute! Although I am a bit biased because he looks just like Chummie to me.

Pam, he looks great! Check out the hack job I did on Bentley this summer:

Of course, it was all his fault because he wouldn't stay still . . . .

Val, Simon does bear a striking resemblance to Chum!
He does look a lot like Chummie!
The haircut looks fine from the picture. It's only hair after all - it will grow out again soon. Just keep reminding your hubby :D .
Val, thanks for posting the picture of Bozo since I can't figure it out. Yes I did tell hubby it will grow out. He still tells me to STAY AWAY FROM THE SCISSORS! But you have to admit it looks funny. I laugh every time I look at him. Pam
It could be worse...... you could have gotten ahold of a pair of clippers, atleast all you had were scissors. Believe me I've seen much worse then what you did to Simon. He really doesn't look that bad from the pic.
Awww... he looks fine :)

He really does look a LOT like Chum! :)

Don't worry - he doesn't look that bad!
He looks cute and very much like Chum!
At least he looks happy and now he can see better too!
Well....here is a picture of a bad haircut that I gave Panda...Bozo isnt bad....at least its not a complete pathetic look that Panda gave me...but on the brighter side...she continues to forgive me for EVERY bad haircut...

And wow...does he EVER look like Chummie!
I think they are all cute! I'm not showing my dogs, they are my babies flaws and all. Hair grows back out and in the mean time you get to look at those pretty eyes...and they get a better look at you.
This was my first attempt at a puppy cut on Bosley, and who knows what I was doing to poor Dixie.......

This is just bad!!!!!

But it all grows back, and you learn what NOT to do
He looks cute and so much like Chummie. Your hair job isn't nearly as bad as the one I gave Winston several years ago, but like everyone says their hair grows back and you learn.
