Not a sheepie but was loved by them

Today I had to put my 14 1/2 PBGV to sleep. He was such a great little guy. The second of his breed to get a UD in obedience. The first was his mom. My heart is broken saying goodbye to him, but he had a stroke last night my vet thinks and is now at the bridge playing with his favorite sheepdog Webster.

Condolences to you and your family. PBGV's are so funny, and getting a UD - that is something to be very proud of! It sounds like your boy had a long and full life with you.
I'm sorry for your loss. PBGV's seem like such a lovely breed. I was actually recommending them to a friend who lost a Basset Hound a few years ago. Sounds like your pup was a wonderful family member.
I'm sorry for your loss. They seem like really great dogs and yours sounds extra special. My heart goes out to you.
I am sorry for your loss. He sounds like he led a good life and was well loved.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. :(
I am so sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was such a wonderful and loved baby.
I'm sorry for your loss too, always hard when our babies have to cross the bridge. 14 1/2 what a wonderful age and he had a wonderful life, may the happy memories flow strong when the grief has susided a little.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. :(
I am so sorry for your sadness. I never really knew what a PBGV was til Thanksgiving when I watched the National Dog show. I was absolutely charmed by the PBGV that was repersented in the best of show. WQhat a dleightful creature!!!! Hang on to all those years of wonderful memories to help comfort you now.
I am so sorry for you. It is so difficult to lose a friend. I have always been very attracted to the looks of a PBGV but I haven't had the opportunity to experience them in person.
I'm so sorry for your loss. But your guy is at peace now and waiting for you. PBGVs are so cute. May you be blessed with another.
Hi,

I know your heart is full of sorry at losing your beloved friend. All of us whom are dog lovers can sympathize and offer condolences. Although he lived a long life of 14 1/2 years it was never enough time , we always wish for more but sadly that's not the case. During our lifetimes we may do this a few times but they will live forever in our hearts and minds.

I know your pal is happily running free with Webster.

Hugs to you

Marianne and the boys
