When You Are On OES.ORG on Thanksgiving Day?

I believe it means I am addicted to sheepies and this forum.
Respond to this topic here on forum.oes.org
It also means I need a break between food prep!
The pies and goose are done, onto the ambrosia fruit salad. The pineapple is grilling at this moment!
It means it isnt Thanksgiving day where I am....us Canadians had ours already. Years ago we used to celebrate both. But that to way too much cooking for me
You don't have to cook this year because you are going to your friends house to eat :D
Sooooo we have plenty of time checking in on oes.org
It is a beautiful day in TN blue sky and my three sheepies and I had our outdoor fun.
Don't forget to watch the dog show. We only watch the herding breeds.
(Wonder why LOL)
Like we say in the south
Y'all have a great Thanksgiving.
Ingrid
I think it's a nice way of really saying, "we need a life" or "we need friends that aren't on the internet." Again, the drugged out, defeated looking emoticon would be nice to have here. The mad emoticon doesn't cut it.

My friend just called and told me to come over and cook there if I'm too anxious and bored. That's sad she could sense it over the phone.
It means my host has run out of stove space and I'm cooking the stuffing here!! :D
Its means im in the UK and we don't get anyTurkey today.... :( booo hoooo
My reward after cooking, more cooking, cleaning up after
Thanksgiving.

It means I'm thankful for all my friends on oes.org!

Old English you are welcomed here for Thanksgiving any year!

It means I'm trying to stay away from the apple and blueberry
pies. I'm being good

It means Bogart is sacked out in his crate snoring due to
his turkey dinner. :D
It means I'm Canadian

Did you make them yourself? This is your day to BE BAD!!! You can work it off the rest of the week! I just put the last thing in the oven. I've been eating everything while I cook. I think my friend is going to be offended when I come over and say I'm full.
It means I'm tired of visiting with relatives :D
All of the above!?!

Do you guys find yourselves thinking about people on the forum just as if they were physically present in your life?? I find myself throughout the day having random thoughts about people like...hmmmm I wonder if Marianne going to get on the games show and I wonder how Mrs. J is doing with the holiday with Mr. J gone. And WHAT'S RON UP TO that w e haven't heard from him

Yes, all the time.... my husband even knows who most of you are... LOL
Isn't THAT the truth!!! I was even "name dropping" at dinner yesterday. I'm never sure how to phrase it though, do you say "my friend....." or "my friend........... from the forum". Saying that someone is a "forum friend" imples a lower level of connection and sometimes I think people here know more about what is going on in my life than my family!!!!!!!!!!
I always tell hubby about people on the forum.....I refer to you guys as my sheepie friends. Somehow its always funnier to me what we discuss on the forum than it is to my hubby....And he has a MUCH better sense of humor than I do.
He always asks me "did you talk to anyone today" and I say...yeah my sheepie friends....he says NO I mean someone in PERSON or on the Phone....
Like I would WANT to talk to other people....geesh
'Thank You' Zahra :D
Regarding talking about my forum friends - that happens here too. Todd thinks it's a bit weird. I started with my basset forum, and he actually has met many of them through our yearly reunions - so he does get it that we are all real people. He just has problems with the "internet chat" type thing. Maybe the flood of Christmas cards will help!

Oh, at Thanksgiving we were talking about new movies coming out and I brought up Charlotte's Web and that it was filmed by Lisa. I got a few looks, but most thought it was cool I "know" someone from where it was filmed!
Ron is alive and well stuffed, being the Turkey that he is. Or is he well stuffed with turkey. Either way. Trying to catch up on my forum reading!

I visited with my brother's family and then did the Black Friday Experience for my 4th time. If I have time today I'll post about the Black Friday Experience.
We missed you Ron, it just wasn't the same without you

We love Thanksgiving in Massachusetts .
I'm always talking and thinking about my forum friends! I do get strange looks from people and family when I say they are friends from online chat. Now, I just call everyone my friends.

Steve thought it was weird for the first few months I was chatting online. Then I went to meet Val and Deb in Philly, then the two of us met Alissa, Deb and Darcy in California, then Deborah, Amanda, Melissa and Paula here in Chicago area....He looks forward to seeing all the cards too and asks how various people are when I fill him in on info. :D
Awwww, I'm thankful for all of my OES.org friends too!!!!
