We were at petsmart buying little Squirt, (our box turtle) some juicy worms. We brought Jack with us, we sometimes bring them both, but with Ashlan going one direction and Joey another, 2 kids and 2 dogs are a bit much. Anyway, we picked up a new toy called the I cube. I think I heard of it on OES-l a few months back. It is a soft cube with 4 balls inside, or you can put treats in there. The dogs figure out how to get the ball or treat out of the cube. Annabelle loves the squeaky balls, but she has much better things to do with her time than figure out how to get them out. Jack loves it, he will get a ball out and squeak it for a minute or so and then get another ball out and squeak it for a a bit. Once they are all out, he is ready for them to be put back in. It has been keeping him busy for hours. I haven't tried treats yet, but that will be next. Stormi, Jack, Annabelle, O'Malley, Toulouse, Berlioz, Marie, and our newest addition Squirt the Turtle. |

Oh! Please don't tell me you can name them all off like that in real life!! I'm the youngest of six and my mother regularily calls me "Siobhán, Mary, Colm, Deirdre, Tar, Rex, Noel, Helen!" |
Very interesting. I love the sound of the toy, and I remember the sound of both of my parents calling me both my brother's and my sister's name.

Just think how my Dad felt when his parents called his name, he was number 8 of 9 children. Talking about a list of names!
Know how you feel about people thinking (knowing) that you are crazy. We have one sheepie, two aussies and I have just recently adopted a rabbit. Mind you, this is not a tame full grown rabbit. When I first got him, I had to bottle feed him every two hours and he is a wil rabbit on top of that. Oh what us animal lovers will do for our babies! |

Who is who and what is what? Did I just say that? ![]() O'Malley is a seal point mitted Ragdoll, same as Toulouse except he has a diamond blaze, Marie's blaze is different as hers has a hourglass blaze. Berlioz is a sealpoint bicolor. The dogs think they are Raggies and will flop over like the cats and the cats think they are sheepies and will fetch just like them and try to drink out of the toilet. I like the generic name call! ![]() Stormi and co. |
I just got Frank one of those cubes a couple of weeks ago and he loves it as well. He gets all the balls himself and I start throwing them. He then does this little stunt where he sees how many he can fit in his mouth before bringing them back to me. He also squeaks on them like crazy too. I hope they sell replacement balls cuz those squeakers will be dead in no time flat. The treats work well in them too. I used them to help Frank figure out that things came out of the cube. |

Yes Dancer and Sky are sheepies, and Kia, Krunch and Kiara are siamese, Sweet Pea is a siamese ragdoll cross that i rescued, planning to find a home for, but she is still here a year later. She is dumb as a stump. She is a seal lynx point, with a peach spot on one front foot and an orange diamond tabby spot on her forehead. Very odd looking. Isis is a tortishell oriental shorthair, Winston is a huge orange maine coon cross that I rescued 5 or 6 years ago as a newborn and had to bottle fee (he is now 21 lbs, and the biggest baby in the house) Paige, Piper, and Cuddles are guinea pigs ![]() ![]() ![]() |

At this point, may I just point out that Tar is my niece (it's a nickname) and Rex was our collie cross who died almost 6 years ago. Mom still hasn't gotten over it. |
