Conservative Celebrities

This link is interesting.

Some of them I knew were, but some are surprising. Like Marilyn Manson. There are some I'm doubtful about, but definitely interesting to see.

Interesting, although I am not sure I agree with their method od determining who falls "right". For example they have Billy Bob Thronton listed because he sent a truck load of baby wipe to the troops. I think this country over and over has shown that you can fully support the troops with necessarily agreeing with the war.

Some were no suprise, like most of the Country Stars, Tom Selleck and Clint Eastwood. But Fleetwood Mac???? Tride to click on some of the "see why" but couldn't bring them up.

Interesting.
I have a real problem with the following statement; These celebrities have the courage to speak out in an industry primarily flooded with liberals. We encourage all of you to take extra effort to patronize these patriotic celebrities.

Since when did being a Liberal make youunpatriotic? Since when did the conservitives become the only patriots?

Anyway, when I make my decisions on issues, I do not make these decisions based on what a celebrity thinks.

Thanks for this statement!

I consider myself very liberal, but am completely tired of being considered unpatriotic, which really makes it difficult to discuss issues with many people in my life. I have the utmost respect & admiration of the troops but am against unjustifiable wars. I don't know why these opinions can't go hand & hand.
Ever listen to the Hannity Hate line? People call in to bash him and whatever else on his answering machine. A lot of times, it's people complaining about being called unpatriotic because they're a liberal.

Anyway, just came to mind when I read the replies... no real reason i wrote that. I think most of the people who call his answering machine are conservatives pretending to be liberals just to hear themselves on the radio.
I've never heard of Hannity Hate. Which group do you think hates each other more?

Here's a link to a "conservative" online tee shirt store:

Haven't found the "liberal" tee store yet...
Yikes!

Would someone actually wear this - conservative or not?

You DON'T want to get me started on Ann Coulter
One of the shirts on the site posted is "I Just Neutered the Cat. Now He's a Liberal" ...funny.

During election time, our school sent 100's of shirts out to the troops. But they weren't ugly like the ones on that website. :)

Sorry! I've never heard of the woman before today - don't know if she's a politician/celebrity/genious/idiot.....

Whatever you'd like to say about it, I probably agree.

Anywayz.....

 You can't make poutine with freedom fries!
OMG!!!!! I can't even watch Hanity and Colmes!! I totally can't stand that guy!!! i hate when people think that only THEIR point of view is right and anyone who opposes them is an idiot or unpatriotic!!

I am a Liberal. I am a member of the Green party, I'm not saying that I agree with everything on the Liberal side, but it suits my morals a little more. I do not support the war, but I fully support our troops and now that we are there, I feel like we need to do everything that can be done to make it right. And, sorry to some of you.. but I do not like Bush. I feel he has done some things that he shouldn't have and he is not exactly an honest person.

However... I believe that it should be ok for anyone to think that way or ANY way they want. The fore fathers wanted us to be free.. free to think the way we wanted and to do what we wanted (within reason of course, you know no killing etc...) and I think it would be unpatriotic to force everyone to believe one thing.

WOOOO!!! That was a long one!!     Like I said tho.. this is JMO!!!

The reason that conservatives call ultra-liberals unpatriotic is because most of their poisitions go against the founding principles of America. To all you saying that you support the troops but not the war, you should realize that this statement itself is confusing to troops. Being in Afghanistan and seeing on the news a legion of liberals (the same liberals whom 30 years ago called us baby killers and spit on us) calling the war unjust anyone involved in it a warmonger, then seeing them immedietly after qualify it with, "but I support the troops fully". I call bull sh*t, I may be just disgruntled but it seems that most of you "patriots" support the troops in only superficial means because it is trendy right now. Telling a combat vet who watched his buddies head get blown off that it was all for oil or that the war is unjust is one thing, claiming afterwards that you "fully support him though" is just ludicrous and insane.
The political left itself is unpatriotic, you don't want to give men and women, who put their life on the line for you freedoms, jack sh*t, but that crackhead who's greatest achievment is standing in a wellfare line is deserving. You want to socialize government and take from anyone who succeeded or worked hard to earn something; this goes directly against the founding principles of capitalism and right to property. You want to remove Relgions from all facets of public life, then claim that the founding fathers were deists who never wanted Christian principles in America in spite of quotes such as "Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God ... What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be." (John Adams).

Founding fathers included nothing about marriage in the constitution, yet you claim that anyone against gay marriage is an unconstitutional redneck. You tax the garbage out of anyone who earned something even though this country was founded because the British taxed the colonies to heavily. But I digress, this is just my opinion on the matter.
