Skijorning

http://www.skijoring.com/

I am going to try skijorning this winter on my lake with Laika, nothing to hard just casual. She will be a year by then. Does anybody on the forum do this? I noticed the cart thread, same idea but on snow. Wow am I actually excited for the winter?? haha

This always looked like fun. I'd be on edge thinking that at any moment they'd take off and I'd be drug behind and turned into a giant snowball like in cartoons!!

One thing I will say is that even at a year, Toby got very sore while doing agility because he pushed himself so hard. I'd watch Laika closely to make sure she's not having too much fun and hurting herself. They are still developing at a year old and may not be aware that they are doing too much until the next day.

Definitely take pics and make sure you wear a cool ski outfit!
Well the good thing about this sport is I work at it too, so it isn't all her doing the pulling at first.

Hopefully my lake freezes ealier this year.
That does sound fun. We have a lake too. I may need to dig out my cc-skis and try it too.
It is a lot of fun, I always take my Lagotto and do that every winter, but luckily we don’t have snow yet..
I didn't know the name for this before. It sounds like a ton of fun!
