Dear Santa Letter

Dear Santa,

My name is Rosie and I am a 7 month old purebreed OES. I have been a very good sheepie this year and since this is my first Christmas I was told I could write you and tell you what I wanted for Christmas. Santa, I want a family of my own for Christmas. You see right now I have to share with 2 foster big brothers and a spoiled brat foster sister. We have so much fun racing around the back yard and jumping on each other and playing tug of war with toys. But it just isn't the same. I am an orphan and I really want to find a great home with some uprights that will love me and spoil me rotten. They wouldn't have to spend a lot of money Santa, as my foster family took me to the doctor and I got all my shots and I even had surgery - yuck. And I know I look kind of scruffy right now but that's only because I had a really bad haircut. You wait though Santa, when my hair grows out I am going to get an upright to comb my hair so pretty - I am going to be the beauty queen of Sheepies.

So Santa, do you think you could maybe drop this picture off to a few of the families on your list, you know maybe like a hint to them that I could be the dog for them??? Oh and could you make sure that they know that my whole butt wiggles when I am happy and I really like the taste of human faces so they won't be upset when I lick them a lot - oh yeah, make sure they don't mind if I sleep with them and cuddle all night long. All they would need to do is apply at http://oesrescuenetwork.org/ for me. That's not to much to ask is it Santa?

Thanks Santa for all your help - I believe you can help me find the perfect furever family.

Sincerely,

Rosie

P.S. Here's those pictures I told you about:

Rosie, you are so cute!
I hope you get a family of your own soon. London will miss you, though.
Awww Rosie youre a doll!! I KNOW youll find your forever home....who in their right mind could resist you???
Rosie, have no fear!! You're such a beautiful girl that I'm sure someone will snatch you up in no time!! :ghug:
That was just too cute. If that can't find you a home, Rosie, I don't know what will!
Oh, Rosie! You are a beautiful baby. Unfortunately, we aren't the perfect home for you. You'll find a family soon. Love you!
Rosie - You're such a doll you'll have lots of families trying to be the one who adopts you.
Am I loosing it or what?...I am bawling here......

I guess thinking of not only Rosie, but all the dogs that will spend thier Holiday season on a cold floor, in a shelter ....listening to all the happy sounds outside.,,,slowly loosing hope that a loving family will accept them into thier homes... :plead: :plead:

Rosie, a big hug and kiss is coming your way....

Bosley and Dixie both say to hang in there, and when you find your family they will be the absolute BEST one for you!!!!!!! And Santa will surely help them find you!!!

:ghug:
:ghug: Ah! Rosie! Willoughby is madly in love. He'll have to send kisses as we're in a townhouse and at our limit of three furry children. Some day, we'll have a cottage and a nice fenced back garden again. Best wishes,Rosie, hugs and kisses. :)
My tears are flowing, too! What a terrific Santa letter!
I just know Santa will help Rosie!
That was so touching...I am holding back tears too.

I really hope Rosie and many others will find their forever homes.

She is such a pretty girl and irresistable. Please Santa grant her wish!!!

Marianne and the boys
Rosie didn't mean to make you folks cry. She just thinks she needs to find a furever family and I agree with her. We will foster her until just the right family is found for her. Her and London are hilarious together. She is such a sweetie and so adorably a sheepie pup with her antics.
Yup, tears flowing here too.
I hope Santa finds the perfect home for her. She is a beauty!
Rosie you are the perfect package all tied up with a bow. You will have no trouble getting your wish I am sure!

Tears too for all the other not so lucky little packages.
Dear Rosie,

I think you are beautiful!! I was headed to a place called a dog pound when my forever family came to get me.My old family did not want me. I was only 14 weeks old and they did not like it when I chewed things or had an accident on the floor. (my new momma said I was just a baby and could not help it) so they left me all alone in the yard for a long time. I was scared and tried to run away. My new momma tries not to laugh when I chew toilet paper up (I am now 18 months and still love the soft feeling of the stuff in my teeth!) but she does and tells me I am a naughty sheepie. I live with these dogs known as labradors and another hearding breed, called a german shepherd.. I have all the toys I need and a big yard to play in. I don't like to be brushed but my momma tells me I need to learn to be still so that she can do it. I do try hard because I love my new family. My momma told me I am safe and will always be here and not to worry about that place called a pound because I will never go there. So Rosie ,if I found a wonderful furever home ,I know you will too. Sometimes it just takes time.

Love Guinness

PS My momma cried when she read your letter but she knows that you are in a safe place now with lots of love.
Dear Rosie,
We are glad you are with a good family right now that love you even if it isnt with your furever home. My dad said NO MORE SHEEPIES....when mom mentioned you. Silly dad wants a Mastiff. Mom said no drooly dogs! So I am afraid there will be no more furballs until dad comes to his senses.
Dad doesnt think we sheepies are big enough. Mom thinks we are just perfect  She is even letting us on the couch and beds now. We are wearing her down...maybe its time for us to work on dad.
Hope you find the pawfect home soon.
hugs, Merlin, Avalon and Faith (ok so I'm not a sheepie....the rescue people said I was part sheepie...I'm a wannabe)
he should have no problem getting a great home.. i wish i could take one more..
AWWWW, Rosie, with a face like that I don't think it will be very long until you will have your furever home wher you will find all the love you deserve :hearts:
What a sweet, sweet letter. :hearts:
She is gorgeous...
There is a SANTA-----ROSIE just believe
Thanks to all that offered to give Rosie a furever home. I posted some photos of her and London playing here:
