Afraid to jinx it but Dixie isn't itchy anymore!

Most of the posts here are when our dogs are having health problems, so I thought I'd do a "good news" post!

We have had Dixie since Feb 2006, and have gone through demodex mange, allergies, ear/ UIT's, and always this frustrating scratching...skin infections, scratching, flare-up and scratching....

We finally had her somewhat stabalised since the summer on non-allergetic food, thyroid meds, and Benedryl...but she still had flare-ups and heaven help us if she unknowingly spit out her benedryl. Scratching down to open sores...

She has been off of it now for almost a week and nothing......No scratching, rubbing, redness, pink ears....nothing more than a normal dog ....We are very happy indeed.. Mind you, she is more active and playful without it, as it made her sleepy... so we are having fun with that aspect

I started her on Missing Link a few weeks ago, so I am wondering if that was the final solution to her problem? That is the only change we have done since August, as we were so afraid to rock the boat.

She may start up again in the spring, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Maybe she is all healthy now!!!!

Yay Dixie! That is awesome news Nicole. Great credit for your amazing care of sweet Dixie. I hope it lasts. Enjoy!! Woo hoo!!
Wonderful news, you have come such a long way with her and it is certainly paying off. Missing Link is awesome, I think the name speaks for itself.

YAY Dixie, shhhhh don't want to jinx it. :plead: :yay:
Is missing link a brand of food? I'm so happy for her!!!! :)

I know how frustrating it can be, so hearing Dixie isn't driving herself or her furparents crazy is wonderful.
That is wonderful - for both Dixie and you. :D

It is a supplement, they have two varities one for normal age and one for seniors with all the joint support supplements in it.

Amazing wonderful stuff. Expensive but lasts a long time.

Here is a link, scroll down towards the bottom and it tells you all the benefits of this.
