funny story

olive , my dog, is my first on my own and well i am kind of learning as i go. so i was runing the other night and it was right after the time change. i really didn't know how badly olive could not see. i would kind of lead her anyway so i would go towrds the left she would too. Well i passed a car parked in the street and i went left to avoid hitting it she was to the side of me and i thought i cleared her too...well she went bam! right into the back bumper of the car and hard too. She just sat down and i thought god i killed her. i checked all over for lumps and blood but she seemed ok. when i flashed my light on the car however it was a bmw and olive mad a pretty big dent. i knocked ont he door but noone answered and had to run home and make a note to leave on the car. Well the guy called me a bit later and now i am paying to fix the bumper because my darn dog ran into it. I knew olive had a hard head but really  so i thought you guys could laugh at my stupidity. :P

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....

I'm sorry you had to pay, but Barney has done the same thing SEVERAL times (minus the damage, well...)
well it makes me feel better that barney is a klutz too. i will say the day after i posted on any ideas to handle the face hair. i really didn't realize hoe it would limit sight. oops!
And I am sure BMW guy would want anyone to pay for the damages, but how would you claim that if you needed to go through insurance.

Can a dog really dent a car? If it was dark, what if the damage was already there? Poor Olive, I hope she didn't have a concusson (sp).

but that is a story to remember... 8O
awww poor olive.....those darn hard heads.....poor you...but honestly, its nice to see someone actually take resposiblity for an honest accident...too bad it was a beemer instead of a tercel....lol
Poor Olive! She must have a hard head if she dented the BMW's bumper and wasn't hurt at all. Silly sheepie. Of course, it couldn't be an inexpensive car she damaged, huh? I remember when I drove a BMW that fixing anything was big $$$.
OLIVE SEEMED OK SHE WAS STUNNED FOR A BIT BUT THEN STARTED JUMPING AROUND. THE BMW DEFINATLY HAD AN OLIVE SHAPED DENT I MEAN TI COULD HAVE BEEN SOMETHING ELSE...BUT TH EDENT WAS KIND OF THE SAME SIZE AS THE TOP OF HER HEAD. OLIVE WALKS AND TROTS LOOKING AT THE GROUND. I REALIZED SHE DID THIS BECAUSE LOOKING STRAIGHT AHEAD SHO COULD NOT SEE BUT THE GROUND SHE COULD SEE. ANYWAY THE GUY THINKS THE DENT WILL KIND OF POP OUT BUT I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THAT. HE IS GOING TO SEND ME A BILL. 8O THE FUNNY PART IS NOW I HAVE HER HAIR UP AND SHE CAN REALLY SEE SHE RUNS WITH HER HEAD HIGH LIKE A SUPER MODEL NOW. WHO WOULD HVE KNOWN I WAS KILLING HER SELF ESTEEM :?
Poor Olive! Lucky that she's OK.

Maybe I'm missing something, but unless you're planning to show Olive why don't you just cut her hair so she can see?
I would check your homeowners (opr renters insurance) it may be covered under your liablity.
Poor Olive and poor you!
I hope the bill isn't bad.
i know i should cut her hair but i am kind of vain and well she just looks so darn cute with the hair, but i guess i can just give her a bang trin...likek i just did for her butt
That stinks, but I couldn't help but laugh. How commendable of you to leave a note on the car. If I was the owner, I think I would have just thanked you for making me laugh :D Annie sideswipes car tires and ends up dirty many times, but no dents 8O
