| I think it's ridiculous when people state things come from a smoke-free or pet free home. If I'm buying a clock, why would it matter? If I'm buying clothes, as long as there are no cig burns or the dog chewed on it, it can go in the wash. That doesn't make the quality of the item any less valuable imo. I understand the preference though .....I guess....................if there are several options for the buyer (to pick a seller), but only if it's clothes. Then again, I can't imagine basing my bids off of that considering more than half of the auctions don't mention anything about it. I think when I sell something next, I'll put "comes from a dirty home in the ghetto" for kicks. |
They are in a world of hurt if it comes from my house then. It comes from a house where people smoke and there are plenty of animals.  |

I've bought things that I forgot to check whether they came from a smoke free environment and about gagged when I opened the box. I had to put several fabric items aside in a clean and airy environment until the stench went away. Fabreeze didn't phase them. Hard surface items like clocks can be wiped down, but the smell stays inside unless you open and blow it out with canned air and sneak in a silica pad. If your doillie lady had a nose like I had some years back, I'm sure the smell was bothersome, LOL. Anymore, what the heck. |

| I think I have been with Rescue Babies so long that I think like a Dog and not like an upright. That is OK with me. I will take the time to explain something to one of them at lenght but will not to an upright. I ASSUME they know what I am talking about. You KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ASSUME....... I guess people think when you say rescue they thing { if they think } that these Babies are sruck off somewhere in cages and that I am setting in my DOG FREE house watching Soap Operas. I don't know!!!!!!!! Just have to explain better TO THEM THERE FOLKS WITH THE THICK WALLETS...Sheepie Hugs, Kaye |
