Halloween stories?

My favorite part of halloween (after the candy) is listening to all the cute kid stories everyone has at the end of the night! So share your favorite trick + treat stories from this year!!!

Here's mine:

I dressed up as a cowgirl (thanks for the idea Ron) to give out candy. A small family with a son (3-4) and a little girl (5-6) came to the house. He took one look at me coming to the door, yelped and backed up SEVERAL feet. Since when are cowgirls scary???

His sister saw him, looked at me, and then turned imperiously to her little brother and informed him with a tone of extreme exasperation.

"IT'S ONLY A COWBOY!"

Then she turned around and got some candy. Little brother got over his fears and also went away with 3 pieces of bubblegum :o

we had a little boy about 5 yrs old...a superman.....his mother said to him..."say trick or treat"....his repeat reply was "Stop, mommy"....after I gave him the candy...she said "what do you say?" His reply.."No, mommy.." lol....he was a shy little cutie!
I said to Ryan at one of the houses. What do you say? after he was given the candy. he said "More candy please!" and he got it.
He also asked an old woman if she was a witch. She wasn't. She was just old with long gray hair and wearing a housecoat.
Hayley had a blast and even said thank you a few times. :D
I will be posting pics later
Steve came home after me (as usual) and it was dark out. He listened to me vent and then went downstairs. He said, "Hurry up", so I went downstairs and Fozzie was already in his costume :D We then trotted over to two separate neighbors' homes for laughs!
You should have taken pictures of your costume Iriskmj!

We went to church for Halloween, but we got back early enough to catch some trick or treaters. I guess the new thing is to NOT say "Trick or Treat." We had a lot of boys come to our door and say "You got candy?" or not say "Thank You." I always got in trouble if I tried to walk away w/o saying it.

My friend said some boys got candy, and after they closed the door, they kicked the face in of their pumpkin.

Anyway, everyone still looked cute that came to our door.

Here's a video of lil J, but I already posted a pic of his costume before.

Jo,
That video was adorable!
Oh my heavens!!!! That is SO CUTE! I'm dying over here!!!!!! I just wanna pick him up and squeeze him :hearts:

All our visitors were very polite, saying happy halloween or trick or treat before getting any candy, and everyone said thank you! We've got good kids in MN :clappurple: I did have one little girl who wanted to pick out her candy though 8O ... I think somebody is a little spolied! At least she asked nicely.
We had quite a few trick-or-treaters. Several of them wanted to pet Truman who was delighted to have the attention. In fact, he tried to leave with a couple of them. One little boy, dressed like a vampire, said "OK..... trick-or-treat AND, I like your dog!" He got extra treats!
