He Really is a Clown!

Fozzie may be the smarted dog I've ever had and lives up to his clownish personality. This makes his clown Halloween costume even better.

We have these squooshly fabric balls that came with the ICube. Up until now, he loves to hold one in his mouth to squeak and kick another around :D Well, within the last week, we have realized that Fozzie can catch a ball! I have never had a dog that did this and I'm just so excited. I didn't even need to show him what to do. He just sits in the living room, I throw the ball up a little, and he tries to catch it. He doesn't catch it every time, but enough times for me to know that it isn't an accident. I'm so excited!

He also has figured out how to remove items from inside the ICube :D

Maybe we can meet Mario Lopez on "Pet Star"...maybe Mario will take me home with him too....well, or at least for one dance :D

Aren't sheepies funny? We had one who would play catch all day long...and she'd come up with her own variations, like catch it on the fly one day, let it bounce twice the next day, and even wait till it was behind her and do a little modified flip.

Lucy (the one with the black eye patch in my avatar) likes to ice skate... runs as fast as she can to a long section of ice, then slidesssssss... over and over again. Haven't a clue to where she picked that game up!

You need a Frisbee now to throw and for foz to catch, ever seen that with the dogs, awesome they catch them in Mid Air.
Yuki couldn't catch until about 6 months go ...and that's with over a year of practice, so your boy is SUPER DUPER smart in our book!!!! :D
Fozzy smart? Doesn't surprise me at all.
That's great! :)

My golden retriever could do all kinds of tricks... anything I wanted to teach him he was eager to learn, and learned fast.
My oes don't even know basic obedience, let alone tricks. LOL That's a drawback of doing confirmation showing, you can't really teach them obedience etc.

Stacy , You really should get him a frisbee! Both of mine will catch in mid air. They LOVE frisbee. :)
If you get one, I would recommend a soft one at first.
Easier on the mouth. Also when we started with Pepsi he just basically stood there and let the frisbee hit him right between the eyes. I decided a soft one was better for him.
8) But what a sweet clown :hearts:
Stacey, try a "Flying Squirel" for Fozzy...Also called a chucke it...Very soft, throws like a frisbee....I think Petco or Pet smart has them. Allie loves it! Not easy for them to destroy.....

I purchased one, but haven't tried it yet for its "real" purpose. It smells like the everlasting treat balls since it came in the same box so it's already been a hit :D
OK, I have to ask...What is a everlasting treatball??? I am always looking for treats that last a longgggggg time for Allie to chew on. She is an aggressive chewer, so things that should last 1hr, last about 15 minutes!
