Hello from Madison
Miley has two kitty"brothers" and two people sisters. My daughters are ages 12 and 9. The girls all attend obedience together. We are all learning about having a puppy in the family. This past June our dog Max (flat coat retriever) crossed over rainbow bridge. It was a difficult summer. The kids and I had a hard time without a dog in our house. It was too quite. In August before school started we got Miley. She have been a blessing and has help us deal with loosing Max. She has wiggled her little bottom into our hearts. I have really enjoyed all the posts and find this forum to be a weath of information and humor at the same time. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing. |

| Welcome! Your little Miley is so cute. I think it's great that your girls are going to class too. My 3 kids all trained dogs from childhood and it was one of the best things we ever did. I grew up training, and I definitely wanted the same for my kids. Seeing as husband Todd and I met at training classes, it never was an issue .
We (myself, daughter LeAnne, Chewie and basset Simon) will be passing through Madison tomorrow evening on our way to Milwaukee. We will be there 7pm-ish. Any good dog parks?? We will be ready for a break by then! |
