CANDY OR CARAMEL APPLES-Any recipes that work, please!

| I saw in the grocery store flyer that they had candy coating in sheets to make candy apples. Sounds much less messy than dipping. |
| Wrapples - the caramel in sheets to wrap the apples works well - not messy.
There is also caramel sauce you can pour over cut up apples, or use as a dip for cut up apple sections. I am having some of the apples and sauce this afternoon - and I can't wait! We are getting together to send out thank yous from our humane society Arff walk, and that is our snack. Yum! |
| I am doing it with the stuff you find in the apple section today. Of course, I prefer mine with nuts and tons of carmel!!! I also do a batch with chocolate and nuts.
I do prefer them already made. Bought 14 last week as a matter of fact. There are only 2 left.  Yes, I'm obsessed with them. ...but this is for class, and I said I would make them myself (like an idiot) for a party. |
| Buy a bag of Kraft caramels. The directions are on the bag. Just melt the caramels, dip the apple in the melted caramel and roll in nuts, etc.

| OOOOhhhhh the thought of candy or carmel apples makes my braces hurt all over again...(and i havent worn them since highschool).....too bad they havent come out with sliced carmel or candy apples.....so much easier and cleaner to eat.... |
